---Departing---

Crow and Josh arrived back at the destroyed arcade, Saito wounds were bandaged up and Leigh-Ann was helping him get his jacket back on. When they arrived everyone looked at them for a second wondering whether Josh had sided with them.
Crow: (smiling) Don’t worry Josh is cool he is one of us
Josh: (a comically angry expression on his face) I’m not one of you Crow I told only for this….(before he could protest anymore The others ran up and started congratulating him as if he just won something)
Zelman: Awesome man welcome to Ace of X, we are the best there is at what we do! (claps him on the back)
Josh: No you don’t understand! I’m not a member I’m just helping!
Jenos: (smoking) I hope you keep us with us we are a pretty crazy bunch.
Josh: (getting angrier) I’m not a member of your stupid team!
Toni: So when are you getting the official tattoo, are you going to change your outfit because that quincy outfit is a little to fancy don’t you think?
Josh: What nobody said anything about tattoos, and what wrong with my outfit!
Toni: Oh nothing is just its a little too much white on one person.
Josh: (even angrier) White is the traditional quincy’s color!
Frio: You can share a room with me, which of course when we get the new base built.
Leigh-Ann: (shyly smiles at him) It is nice to meet you Mr.Quincy (shakes his hand quickly then backs away)
Saito: (now joining the crowd around the angry and protesting Josh. He was drinking a sour drink called Sucker Punch, his favorite, an angry look on your face) Great a new member to the team, that exactly what we need. We don’t even know if we can trust this guy but everyone seems so willing to just let him join.
Crow: (smiling and laughing) I trust him Sai, which should be good enough for you (Josh who was arguing with Toni about his sense of fashion, stopped when he heard that. He looked at Crow and thought Sai was right they didn’t know that much about him let alone trust him and yet Crow trusted him 100%) Well now that it seems we are already to go, Toni signal Isao.
Josh: (looking confuse at Toni ran off to get something) I don’t understand how are we going to signal Soul Society so soon and it is going to be a while before we leave they have to set up the gate. (Toni came back with a playing card)
Crow: You see Josh I left a playing card with Isao and told him when we are ready the card will tell him (Toni places a finger on the card and it begins to glow) What he doesn’t know that the card will cause a obnoxious explosion with lots of smoke and noise. (they all laugh thinking of how Isao must be reacting) They set up the gate during the week so when we are ready they will signal us where it is so that leaving is quick and simple
Josh: (surprise how well Crow had prepared for this, he didn’t seem like the person who would set up something ahead of time) Oh I see (just then a signal flare shot up into the sky signaling where the Soul Society people would be waiting for them. Crow looked at where the flare had come from he was thinking that it was further away then what they had planned)
Crow: Okay everyone grab your stuff we are going (they all grabbed their bags and vanish heading to the departure sight)
After a couple of minutes, they all started to get closer to the departure spot, Sephiria was the closest one to the spot, because she was the fastest, saw something that unsettled her slightly.
Sephiria: (turning to Crow) Crow look down there, notice something unusual?
Crow: What do you mean Sephiria? (Crow now looked down at the spot and saw what see meant, instead of seeing the grump faced Isao down there with his usual band of bodyguards there was only 2 soul reapers nobody else and also there was no sign that a gate to Hueco Mundo was set up anywhere Crow had a slightly bad feeling about this)

Crow and Sephiria soon landed on the ground and look around with unease they were soon followed by Josh then the others. There were 2 soul reapers one of them was bigger than the other, and the badges on their arm showed they were in the 11th squad but very low seats. The bigger of the two was fat or bulky but more or likely fat, he had a face that look like it was never happy for a day, and several veins were budging on neck and temple along with some on his bald head. He looked like he was constipated his hands were the size of frying pans and his fingers were like sausages this man could hurt someone very much if he wanted to. The smaller of the two was quite lanky, had long arms and legs but a small torso his hair look greasy and nasty to touch, he had the face only a mother could love, and it was toad-ish his eyes were buggy and when they look at who you got the feeling you were being molested.

Crow: (walking over to the bigger man because he assume he was in charge) Um yeah where is the gate this is suppose to be the place where we depart.
Big Man: (he gave a snort at Crow offered hand and when he spoke it was hard and blunt) No I don’t know why you think that! That was never discussed, the departure spot it a couple blocks over there, and we are going to escort you there as well as see you off! The Captain Commander wanted to make sure that you didn’t pull any funny business!
Crow: (a little annoyed by how this man is talking to him, but let it go) Ok but if the Isao wanted to make sure there was no funny business then why is here him self.
Big Man: (it was like Crow just insulted his mother) THE CAPTAIN COMMANDER DOESN’T HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH YOU!!! HE IS A VERY BUSY AT THE TIME DEALING WITH IMPORTANT ISSUES (before Crow could even ask his next question the man answer for him) AND IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS WHAT HE IS DEALING WITH!!!!!!!!
Crow: (he look to each of his team mates who gave them a inside look then back at the 2 soul reapers when he caught the smaller one eye he notice the man straighten up and look at him, apparently this guy didn’t want Crow to notice what he was looking at) Ok then calm down may I ask who you two are than because clearly you two are not Isao and his crew.
Big man: I’m Shibo Burubea, 18th seat in squad 11, and this is Haisha Hikigaeru (he indicated the other one, who again straighten up and look at Crow) 20nd seat in squad 11
Crow: (thinking to himself for a moment, he didn’t remember the Seritei all too well but he did remember that the 11th squad barracks were near the academy) Ok Shibo will you please take us to the departure site, after all that is your job to escort and see us off isn’t it
Shibo: (whatever Crow had said to piss him off had apparently sent him over the edge) FIRST YOU DAMN PUNK IT BURUBEA TO YOU!!!! AND SECOND DON’T TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR PLACE!!!!
Sephiria: (she had been holding her tongue this entire team, but she was too proud and care too much for her leader to let something ignorant bully talk to him or any of her team mates like that anymore) No you need to learn your place your place before you speak to my leader!!!!!
Shibo: (the fact that this woman had spoken to him like that was a final straw) BITCH WHO ASK FOR YOUR OPINON!!!!! (he clenched his hand into a tight fist and made a small movement to raise it but notice that several people had gone for their swords, Zelman had actually drawn his sword)
Sephiria: This is my backyard! You are out numbered and probably out powered! So I suggest that you shut your mouth, because at this moment I am your superior!
Crow: (he smile he like when Sephiria stuck up for him, or any one for that matter, Crow was looking around then realize his hand was on his gun, he must have gone for it unconsciously. As he look around half listen to the argument between Shibo and Sephiria his eye caught sight of the one named Haisha, who was staring at Leigh-Ann but not the way Crow was now just staring into open space but in the way that a starving dog would stared at meat fight in front of its nose. Crow suddenly became disgusted with these two he wanted to shoot them both dead right now) Sephiria I appreciate you sticking up for me but relax it okay no harm no foul.
Sephiria: (she look into Crow eyes and took a breath) Okay Crow I chill out
Crow: (smiling but keeping eye on Haisha the entire time) Burubea the first time I ask nicely now I telling you take us to your spot now
Shibo: Fine follow us (he vanishes quickly then Haisha lags behind then Ace of X followed but right before Crow goes Josh grabs his arm)
Josh: I’ll stay back with Leigh-Ann and keep a eye on that toad (Josh and Crow look at each other, Crow know Josh had seen what he saw and know what he know as well. They both just nodded at each other)

The two soul reapers and the 12 Ace of X hop from building to building for about 5 minutes, Crow notice that Haisha was moving slower so that he would be near Leigh-Ann. The entire time Crow was exchanging looks with the rest of his team, the looks you give someone when you want to make secret plans. They soon arrived at a parking lot a few blocks over from where they just were. Crow look around and with the same disgust he had earlier he realized that they were barely a block from the local elementary school.

Shibo: This is the spot where you will be departing (he walk over to a certain spot and with a clumsy release of spirit energy open the gate with the aid of a special device created by the twelfth squad) Now go we don’t have all day to be dealing with you! (Crow was staring at the gate but was making no move to go end) I said to GO!
Crow: (turns to face Shibo) Oh I heard you but there is one thing I want to know before we leave. Sephiria, Roy take care of the big guy I got the toad (within seconds Sephiria and Roy were next to Shibo, Shibo went for his sword but Roy had grab his arm and with one swift movement had dislocated his arm there was a sickening pop with the dislocation. Sephiria had punch him in the gut winding him, then the three were gone to a building near by)
Haisha: This is a set up I knew it corrupt inno…(Crow had appear in front of him and grab his hand, which was on his sword ready to release, but Crow had forced his hand back down slamming the sword back into the sheath and began squeezing his hand) AAAHHHH!!! Wait till the captain commander…
Crow: SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!!! (Crow had a look of pure anger on his face) You not going to tell Isao shit and everybody know it, and if you did I would love to tell him all about how you stared at my youngest member like a hobo stares at food, and how the spot the gate is set up is close by a elementary school or how someone like you is in the 11th squad near the damn academy! (Crow was squeezing harder and harder)
Haisha: AAAHHH!!
Crow: This is what they let into the Gotei 13 nowadays a toad who preys on children and a bully who wouldn’t think twice about hitting a woman! (there was a sickening cracking coming from Haisha ‘s hand, blood was dripping over his sword) I wanted to shoot you two on the spot but I needed you two (there was a blood curdling scream coming from the near by building that Crow know was not from one of his friends) but now that you two are useless (the screams were growing louder)
Haisha: (tears and snort were pouring from his face he tried to pull his hand away but he just couldn’t Crow was too strong for him) Please….AAAHHHH….don’t…I..I..swear just l….let us….AAAHHHHH….be….please
Crow: Don’t you beg for mercy it makes me sick (Crow face was for once emotionless the screams had ended meaning that Sephiria and Roy were done) Because I got more important things I’ve decided…
Haisha: Thank you thank you…
Crow: (pulls out one of his guns and loads it) I didn’t finish I’ve decided I’m going to end you quickly (Haisha’s eyes widen in terror then Crow pull the trigger and fired twice into his gut his eyes went blank and his body limped, Crow let go of his hand so that he can fall on the ground)
Josh: (stares down at the body) Is he dead, did you kill him?
Crow: (as he turn to Josh he is smiling again) Nah, I shot him with a special bullet called a sangre falsa it gives all they real pain of a bullet shot but without actually injuring people, but he will have a huge bruise for being shot so close I also shot him with a tranquilizer bullet so he will be out for at least a day or till they come searching for him but I highly doubt that will be soon. (Sephiria and Roy reappear holding a unconscious Shibo, his face is covered in cuts and bruises) Ah there you two are you can toss him and his friend in the dumpster (They picked the two soul reapers up and dropped them not so gently into the nearby dumpster) what is the news?
Sephiria: (dusting off her hands) Apparently Isao attacked the Rising Sun base, they destroyed it and took the Asoka girl captive she is being executed tomorrow.
Crow: (takes off his hat and rubs his hand though his hair) Damn I don’t know Isao reasons but he started a war that will have great causalities, and I hope it doesn’t start with Asoka the Celestial Being
Sephiria: Crow what should we do, we can go hope maybe buy her some time
Crow: (thinks for a while about Miroku, Isao, Asoka, his past) No if I know Miroku he would want to deal with this himself with no help, and if he hasn’t yet then he probably planning to help he wouldn’t let them hurt her. And also we have a misson of our own if we get back in time we can deal with it but not till afterwards. Let’s depart from here

-STILL IN MIROKU'S MEMORIES-

Crow, Miroku, Kuesu, Bardock and Hidan arrive at Ikumi's house. Bardock is carrying Miroku, who received deep bite wounds on his left shoulder from the arrancar. The others have small cuts and bruises. Kuesu is crying as she watches blood continue to spill out of Miroku's wounds.

Kuesu: (crying) This is all my fault!
Hidan: What do you mean by that? Its not your fault that those hollow attacked us. I'm still wondering how they even got into the spirit world without Soul Society noticing.
Kuesu: Its not that! If I wasn't so weak, then Miroku wouldn't of had to protect me and he wouldn't be half-dead right now!
Bardock: (as they all begin to walk into Ikumi's house) You shouldn't blame yourself! Miroku probably would of done that even if you were strong. That just seems to be the kind of person he is. (Crow is the first to walk in, but he is suddenly hit in the face by a large frying pan.)
Ikumi: You missed practice again Crow! (Crow begins to get up and rubs his head with blood flowing out of his nose. Ikumi looks on the ground near Crow and notices that a gun has fallen out of his pocket, Ikumi now punts him on his chin sending Crow flying through the wall back outside.) WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH ANOTHER GUN?
Crow: (staggering to his feet) Sorry Ikumi, but I needed.....(as Crow tries to plead his case, Ikumi looks over at the other kids and sees that Miroku is bleeding profusely)
Ikumi: Isn't that the kid from the other day?
Crow: Yeah, he....(Ikumi picks up Crow and slams him to the ground clutching his neck)
Ikumi: I can't believe this! You actually found another gun, went to find that kid and shot him!? This is unforgivable Crow! (Crow tries to speak but can't because Ikumi's grip around his neck continues to get tighter. Kuesu quickly runs over to Ikumi)
Kuesu: Please stop, Crow only helped us! (Hidan runs up as well)
Hidan: That's right, Crow is the reason we are all still alive. (Ikumi's grip loosens from around Crow's neck.)
Ikumi: Really!? (Ikumi lets go of Crow ,who has now passed out, and walks over to Miroku) Take Miroku to the room in the very back of the house. I'll take Crow there too.

Ikumi is sitting in the family room of her house. Hidan, Bardock and Kuesu are sitting on a couch all with a glass of water. Ikumi is looking at all of them, they all continue to look towards the back room where Crow and Miroku are at.

Kuesu: (with some tears flowing down her face) Thank you for helping us! I really appreciate it.
Ikumi: Its no problem, and please stop crying sweetheart, you are far to pretty to look so sad. (Ikumi walks over to Kuesu and wipes the tears off her face.)
Hidan: (looking at Kuesu and Ikumi) She's just upset because Miroku got his injury from protecting her.
Ikumi: So that's why, well that's understandable but....(As Ikumi tries to speak, she is interrupted by Kuesu)
Kuesu: If I was stronger, then he wouldn't of gotten hurt.
Bardock: As Crow said earlier, it wasn't your fault. (Ikumi starts to laugh)
Ikumi: Crow really said that, I'm impressed. He doesn't ever try to cheer people up. But your friends are right Kuesu! I can tell that you care deeply for Miroku, but you can't beat yourself up over something like this. (Ikumi's face changes to a very serious look as she stares into Kuesu's eyes) Learn from what happened and get stronger so that it never happens again! (Kuesu's eyes open wide as she hears Ikumi's statement)
Kuesu: (thinking to herself) I do need to get stronger and one day, I'll be the one that saves you Miroku. I promise!

Miroku and Crow are laying down on two beds inside the back room. There are two large shelves in the room. One has a ton of medical books on it and the other has medicine bottles. Miroku has bandages wrapped around his shoulders and Crow has bandages around his waist and there is an icepack wrapped in bandages around his forehead.

Miroku: Are you still awake Crow?
Crow: So I guess you know my name now?
Miroku: Sorry about that, I always try to make jokes when I'm hurt so that my friends don't worry about me.
Crow: I don't understand!
Miroku: Don't understand what?
Crow: Why would you risk your well being for others?
Miroku: Why wouldn't I?
Crow: (with a confused look) You really are crazy aren't you?
Miroku: (tries to laugh but stops because of a sharp pain in his shoulder) I protected her because she is my friend.
Crow: Friend!? That's just another word for person that gets in your way. Friends do nothing but hinder you.
Miroku: That's not true. Friends give you a reason to live.
Crow: A reason to live?
Miroku: Yeah, life would suck if you had no one to share moments with. No one to cheer you up when you're sad. No one to congratulate you when you achieve a goal. No one to play games with. And on top of that, you would never get a gift for Christmas! That would really suck.
Crow: I never thought of it like that before. But what happens when you try to protect them and you die!
Miroku: (laughing) The I guess I would die happy knowing that my friends are safe.
Crow: (Begins to think on what Miroku has said) .......
Miroku: (with a serious look) But that will never happen because some day, I'll be the strongest person in the world! And no one will ever be able to hurt my friends.
Crow: (with a smirk on his face) You mean second strongest in the world, because I'm gonna be the strongest!
Miroku: (laughing) Well then I guess I have a rival!
Crow: (with a smirk) I was thinking the same thing. I better start creating a group of my own since you seem to already have one.
Miroku: (smiling) Listen to you, actually thinking about having friends.
Crow: Well its like you said, friends do serve a higher purpose..... they force you to get stronger!
Miroku: (with a surprised look) Hahaha, I guess we're not that different after all Crow.
Crow: (laughing) Yeah, I guess not, but don't get things twisted Miroku! We're still not friends, just rivals.
Miroku: (with a smirk on his face) Yeah, yeah whatever Falcon!
Crow: Hahaha, dumbass!
(Miroku and Crow fall asleep)

-PRESENT TIME-
Chiyo has now fallen asleep waiting for Miroku to fully recover, but is suddenly woken up by a dense spiritual pressure. As Chiyo looks up, She sees Miroku standing in front of her, but he feels and appears different from before.

Chiyo: Miroku? Is that you?
Miroku: So you noticed it too?
Chiyo: Of course. Back in Hueco Mundo, your reiatsu glowed red but now its white.
Miroku: Yeah I was wondering about that too! (Thinking to himself) Could this be that women's doing. She said that she was my blade, and for some reason I can't sense Ketsueki Karite at all. Did she force him away? (As Miroku is thinking, he stops as he notices something unusual.) Chiyo!
Chiyo: Yeah, whats wrong?
Miroku: How long was I sleep?
Chiyo: About 12 hours.
Miroku: Do you know what happened when I was sleep?
Chiyo: No, but I believe some serious things took place while you were out.
Miroku: (Thinking to himself) I can't sense anyone from my team! What the hell is going on? (Miroku looks at Chiyo) Lets go. (Miroku and Chiyo begin to run towards the hideout, Miroku begins to run faster and starts to leave Chiyo behind)
Chiyo: That look on his face. I've never seen him like this before. This must be bad. (Chiyo arrives a few seconds behind Miroku and sees him standing at the entrance of the cave with a blank stare on his face. As she walks up to him, she soon sees why he's staring. Inside the cave is the ruins of the mansion and many courpses of dead soul reapers)
Miroku: What the hell happened? ( Miroku runs towards the ruins but stops as he sees a large mass a crystals in the distance. Miroku slowly walks over the corpses of the dead soul reapers and makes his way over to the crystals. Miroku stops and looks down. As he stares downward a tear flows down his face as he sees his long time friend Coran dead with crystals protruding out of his back. Chiyo walks over and looks in horror as she sees Coran laying there. Without a word, Miroku removes the crystals from Coran's back and carries him to an untouched area in the cave)
Chiyo: Miroku what are you doing? (Miroku doesn't answer and lays Corans body down on the ground. Miroku walks a few feet away, grabs a piece of wood from the ruins of the mansion and begins to dig a grave for Coran. After ten minutes of digging, the grave is done and Miroku places Corans body in the grave. He then grabs another piece of wood and craves it into a cross. After burying Coran, he places the cross at the head of the grave and carves Coran's name in it.)
Miroku: (tears running down his face) Good bye friend! (Miroku begins to think on what Coran told him a few years ago)

-SOME TIME IN THE PAST-
Miroku and Coran are talking inside Coran's room. Coran pulls out a folder that has many letters addressed to him in it.

Miroku: What is that?
Coran: Just a few letter from my family that I received when I was in jail.
Miroku: Well we escaped, so you should go see them.
Coran: Trust me, I would love to see them but I have no leads as to were my sister is.
Miroku: Don't worry, I know Rukongai like the back of my hand. I'll find her in no time.
Coran: Don't worry about it, we have plenty of time to look for her. (Coran puts the folder away)
Miroku: Well can't I at least see what your sister looks like?
Coran: I said not to worry about it. (Coran locks the folder in a safe)

-BACK TO THE PRESENT-
Miroku walks to the middle of the ruins and starts searching through the debris.

Miroku: Found it! (Miroku lifts a large safe up from the ruins and breaks it open. He pulls out a big folder and opens it. Miroku starts to look at the pictures of his family and sees a picture of Coran when he looks to be a teenager holding a small baby girl that has light blue hair. Miroku then sees the letters and looks at the name of the person who sent them. As he looks at them, more tears fall down his face) I always had a feeling that it was you. (As he looks at the name on the letter, it reads... Kuesu! Miroku walks over to Coran's grave and sits the folder next to the cross.)
Chiyo: What are we gonna do now?
Miroku: I wish I knew, but I have no idea where everyone else is at.
Chiyo: So what, are we just gonna do nothing?
Miroku: That's not what I mean. We will have to split up for now. You go and search for the others. I'm gonna pay a visit to Soul Society.
Chiyo: By yourself? That's suicide.
Miroku: I can handle myself. I noticed that the underground escape tunnel was open so I believe that everyone else escaped. Find them and meet me in Soul Society.
Chiyo: But...
Miroku: (interrupting her) GO! (Chiyo vanishes as she goes to look for Titus and the others. Miroku walks out of the cave and clenches his fists.) I don't know why you did this Isao, but there is no turning back now!

The End!

Good stuff. Here's the first part of my post...this one's going to be longer than the rest. I don't know when I'll be finished with all of it, but I'll try to get it done over the course of today and tomorrow.

Mine had been at her desk all day, feverishly putting away hour after hour pouring over notes taken by various shinigami. There had been no direct sightings of Nemu, but she knew that whatever Mayuri had planned for her, it would be dangerous. What’s worse, she could hardly focus. Isao was a mess, she could see that plainly now. Those eyes that had always seemed so resolute had lost their entire luster. It was no wonder he couldn’t fight like that. She remembered the pain of her own losses, but swallowed it down. She had no time to think about them.
???: I found her.
Mine had been so lost in thought that she hadn’t even noticed the young woman entering. Renee had always been fast herself, but she had a long way to go to catch up to Mine. Her main skill lay in tracking, that’s why she’d been set on the case. The woman could sense people well below her level from miles away.
Mine: Where?
Renee: Las Noches. She seems to have taken over control there.
Mine stood up immediately, walking around her desk. She stood and looked the young woman square in the eyes. Renee always looked like she was half asleep, yet she was extremely sharp. She was perfect for her role.
Mine: Zane! Go fetch Amiro. Tell him he’s in charge for now. The man is still young, but after a year as captain, but he’s shown that he knows how to take charge.
Zane looked startled as he tumbled out of his hiding place in one of the walls. He always seemed to have a different panel, she had no idea just how many removable panels littered the place.
Mine: Renee, I’ll need you to scout while we’re there. You’ll need to keep yourself hidden.
Renee: Of course.
Mine: I am going to go find Ryuu. He’s now to the captain uniform, but I’ll need someone. *She thinks* I just wish Isao wasn’t so…
She was interrupted in her train of thought by bumping into someone. She stood up to yell at him, only to realize that it was Isao. After a dismissive wave of her hand, she moved to walk around him. He grabbed her by the shoulder. Mine looked up at him, cracking the knuckles on her right hand as she looked with sharp, icy eyes into his. She was surprised by what she saw there. A determination unlike any she’d seen before. His pupils might as well have been made of blue metal for all the strength behind them. He seemed stronger than she had ever seen him before.
Isao: I’m coming with you, whether you want me or not.
Mine: Hmph, suit yourself, but don’t come crying to me if you get killed.
A small smile crossed her face as she turned around, turning to get Ryuu. It would be worth having another captain.

(Hueco Mundo)

As the four of them arrived, they were greeted with an intense energy which seemed to be coming from everywhere. They watched as low level hollow around them shriveled and died from the force of it. Ryuu had never felt anything like it before, his heart sunk into his stomach from the force of it. He had only recently been made squad captain, but he wasn’t ready for this. Isao and Captain Commander Mine stood strong against it, as though testing their will against whatever was putting all that energy out. He should have told them he was sick or something.
Isao: That’s Nemu’s energy. I’m certain of it.
The woman who had been with them was already gone, though he hadn’t even seen her move. Ryuu wasn’t sure who she was, but despite the vast differences in looks and age, she somehow felt similarly to Mine.
Mine: We’re going.
They both vanished, moving quickly toward the citadel. Ryuu’s legs stalled for a moment, until he forced himself to move forward. He consoled himself, thinking that those two would take care of whatever monsters they had to face, that he was just there for backup.
As they moved closer to the citadel, the power seemed to become more frightening, though its level remained the same. He couldn’t shake the feeling that they were running toward something that was nothing less than a monster.
They surmounted a tremendous dune, bringing the citadel into sight in the distance. Mine stopped short, a gasp just barely audible. Half of the citadel’s ceiling was charred ash in the distance. A tremendous pillar of smoke arose from it. Ryuu knew that whatever caused that would be dangerous, and felt his hand automatically move to his sword as they started to push forward again.
Ryuu had no idea what had gone on here. He’d heard stories about how Hueco Mundo had been in disarray for almost a millennium since Aizen and the original Espada, but never reports of something like this. It seemed too recent. Ash still rained down from the open wound in the gigantic building.
The door ahead to the inside had been blown off its hinges and now lay on the ground. As they stepped through the door, they were greeted with another surprise. The inside seemed completely hollowed out. Buildings that had once been clustered in there were decimated in a large radius, though some remained on the outskirts. The sky that had once adorned the ceiling was now replaced by a sheet of pure white, marred only by the char near the hole. Ryuu searched for the central source of it all, but only needed to look to Isao’s stern gaze to see where it lay. Hundreds of feet in the air, positioned halfway between the roof of the dome and the ground, was the figure of a young woman sitting cross legged on air.
Isao raised his axe, pointing it at her, though Mine put a hand on it, shaking her head. He lowered the axe reluctantly.
Mine: Nemu. Mayuri’s dead. Why do you still pursue his plans?
Mayuri: Dead, am I?
Everyone’s eyes opened wide in shock, the all-too-familiar voice echoing within the walls. The white dome flashed, and suddenly depicted the wide grin of the former captain of the twelfth squad. Ryuu shivered, remembering lessons under him at the academy.
Mayuri: I can assure you that while my body has long since gone from this world, I have not. I learned long ago how to copy all that is my mental self, and now all it needs is a body. Nemu is on the verge of creating that body, one that will give me the power that I’ll need to test the veracity of my claims. I’ll finally regain access to the laboratory materials in Soul Society, and with it, I’ll have completed the most important experiment ever witnessed!
Mine: You know, these long, drawn out speeches are getting annoying. How about we just end Nemu now and bring this whole thing to a close?
Mayuri: What, do you think I am some sort of comic book villain? Do you think I’d allow your stooge outside to find me and give you all an opportunity to defeat me? Quite the contrary, my plans are already finished. Nemu.
Nemu’s eyes flashed open. Unlike before, there were now two different colors, one for each eye. The right eye was still purple, but the left had turned a deep red. She stood up, slowly floating down to the ground, and raising her arms straight into the air. The screen behind her turned completely white.
She seemed to become blurry. Dual images of her began forming, though each image had the same colored eyes. The images coalesced into actual forms, each bearing the same looks as Nemu. Their demeanor was drastically different. A wide grin adorned the face of the red eyed one, and the other remained meek and unemotional. When the red eyed Nemu began to speak, the voice was that of Mayuri.
Mayuri: As you can see, it is quite beyond your control now. You’ll find that in these forms, we are more than a match for you!
Mine: Not likely. Neither of you are getting out here.
Mayuri: Ah, that line sounds very familiar! But this time, I’ve assured it.
He swept his hand in front of him, and 10 arrancar appeared almost instantly. None of them seemed to be in control of their actions, he had somehow taken complete control of them. Each was adorned with a number, 0-9.
Isao: Espada.
Mayuri: Precisely. With the 10 of them here, I think the ones who are not leaving are…
???: How about none of you?
Mayuri’s eyes whipped around at the voice. 4 arrancar stood at the entrance that they had come through. There was a large man, who dominated the entrance; a slender woman, who seemed to be wandering aimlessly at she marveled at the massive expanse that had become of Las Noches; a middle aged man who was leaning against the door frame, seeming annoyed; and another man of similar age staring out with strange eyes at Mine from behind the large one.
Mayuri: And who might you be?
The large one smiled as he opened his mouth to respond, only to shut it quickly as the young woman let out a gasp of delight.
???: Can we always keep it this way, Rey? Las Noches has never been so marvelous! It was always so cluttered, now it’s so open and idyllic!
???: They destroyed our home, our palace, Huabu. Just because haven’t lived here doesn’t mean we should be enjoying that destruction.
Huabu: But it brought such beauty to this place, Boido. Out of destruction/ there rises great simplicity/marvelous to see!
???: Would you just shut up already? I’m already bored of this place.
Boido shot him a sharp look: We are here to put a stop to this nonsense, at least look like you care Dormirarbol.
Dormirarbol slammed his forehead against Boido’s: You want to make something of it?
Rey: ENOUGH!
Rey slammed the butt of his staff down on the ground, and a burst of black lightning had shot out and created a hole in the roof. He looked up at it, grimacing.
Rey: I don’t know who the hell you are, but taking over Las Noches is something I cannot allow.
Mayuri: Quite the prideful one, aren’t we?
Rey: You’ll feel my wrath momentarily. I don’t care for the espada you have standing before you in the slightest, but you shinigami should learn your place.
Dormirarbol shifted slightly, using sonido and appearing at Ryuu’s shoulder. Everyone reacted in an instant, but he held up his hands and they stopped, mere inches away from slicing him to bits.
Dormirarbol: Good to see your reflexes are so attuned. While we’re not inclined to work with shinigami in any situation, I think the odds that we’ll be able to take this one down seem rather slim if we don’t work together.
Isao: How do we know we can trust you?
Dormirarbol: You don’t. But you don’t have any choice at this point, do you?
Mine: And we should believe you because you want to defend your home?
Dormirarbol: No, you should believe me because we want control over this place. The espada have had it far too long, and now that this trash has taken it, he’s given us an opportunity.
Mine: Fine, a power play. Just don’t let that big one…Rey was it?...get out of control. It seems as though he’s more than capable of losing his head.
Dormirarbol: We’ll do what we can, though I can give no guarantees for after the fight. Our group will take care of the espada, you take care of him and his partner.
Mayuri: You people done yet? Your feeble attempts to form an alliance are boring me.
Dormirarbol flashed back over to the wall, leaning against it again, though this time his gaze was focused on Mayuri. He had partially unsheathed his blade, and the others were moving their weapons out as well.
Mayuri: Dispose of them.
The espada with the number 3 on its shoulder blade shifted and immediately appeared to the right of Rey. He struck out with his blade, coming within inches of slicing into his neck, only to have Boido’s blunt weapon appear at the juncture between his neck and shoulder, slamming him backward. He bounced off the ground multiple times with sickening cracks before ramming into the other side of the dome.
Mayuri: My, my. Quite the capable ones, aren’t we? I’ve seen what you can do to one of them, now how about all 10?
The remaining 9 rushed over, and the #3 got up from the rubble and joined them. One of the 10 moved forward, anger apparent on his face as a tremendous energy shot out in all directions from him. Huabu moved in front of her compatriots, a field of energy coming up around her. As the two met, a massive explosion shook the entire area, and every one of them rushed out into the deserts of Hueco Mundo.
Mayuri: That just leaves us. I suppose your chances of beating us have just gone up, but not by much.
Mine whispered into Ryuu’s ear: I have no idea what’s going to happen in here, but you can’t stay here and fight with us on their level. I can guarantee there will be hollow coming to this location with our energies pouring out like this, so head out and protect this place.
He didn’t need to ask questions. Ryuu immediately headed out. As he did, he paused only briefly to look back, watching as Mayuri and Nemu moved with Isao and Mine, respectively, to opposite sides fo the dome. She was right, he couldn’t stay there. He looked ahead, feeling the presence of many hollow ahead of him. Unsheathing his blade, he unleashed a torrent of liquid ice as he sped toward them.

Part 2 (I told you this would be long):

(Mine’s perspective)

Her hand flashed to the hilt of her blade almost automatically. She had chosen Nemu as her opponent for multiple reasons, mainly that she was more used to her own body and that her lack of expression made her extremely unpredictable.
Nemu: You should just give up.
Mine was surprised by her sudden words. She had hardly ever talked with the woman, but the few times she had, it was all she could do to get her to say even a few words.
Mine: And why should we? You’re up against your former Captain Commander. Do you really expect to leave here alive?
Nemu: Mayuri-sama has assured me as much.
Mine: You always listen to him, don’t you? You’re willing to follow him to your death?
Nemu: If that is where he takes me.
Mine: I see. You’ll find no mercy from me.
Nemu: I expect none.
Mine was instantly at her back, blade swinging towards her abdomen. Nemu was surprisingly fast, turning around and knocking the blade away with her fist as she kicked backward. She hit nothing but air as Mine appeared in front of her, arm outstretched.
Mine: Hado #...
She was surprised by a sudden fist slamming into her cheek, sending her reeling to her left. Nemu was far faster than she expected. She was nowhere near this level when she fought with Zane. She spit a small amount of blood out.
Nemu: Mayuri-sama anticipated which of us would be fighting you. He specifically had me focus on speed when our bodies separated. He became more focused on strength to deal with Isao.
A small smirk appeared on Mine’s face.
Mine: Then he’s going to be in for a rude awakening, as are you.
Nemu: We are both prepared.
She opened her mouth, revealing a small black ball. Mine was shocked, she’d seen a similar ball appear from Isao’s ability. Did they manage to copy it somehow? Nemu bit down, and as the darkness began to coil around her form, Mine shouted out: Bankai!

(Isao’s perspective)

Isao: This time, it’s all over for you.
Mayuri’s smile broadened. It looked so odd on that face, which had been unadorned by emotion for as long as he’d seen her. The voice coming out of that body sent a shiver down his spine.
Mayuri: You know, you keep saying that, but it seems you’re quite incapable of finishing the job.
Isao: I’ll rectify that mistake. I’ve seen the strength and speed of that body before, I know what it’s capable of.
Mayuri: Do you now? Well then, by all means, come at me.
Isao didn’t need more prompting. He rushed at him, slicing downward with his axe, only to have it caught with one hand as if it were nothing. Surprise touched his eyes for a moment, then determination dominated them as he struck forward with his right fist. Mayuri went to block him with his other arm, only to be sent skidding backward by the force of it. Now it was Mayuri’s turn to look slightly surprised.
Mayuri: Oh? It appears that you’ve gotten stronger than when we last met. The death of your wife must have given you newfound strength.
Isao’s gaze became one of pure fury. He quickly called out Bifrost and Yggdrasil, and then stuck out his arm, grabbing a flail with a 3 foot long chain and a spiked ball 2 feet in diameter.
Mayuri: Yes! Show me the strength that comes with that determination of yours!
His body seemed to turn to fire, becoming encased in glass as it did. Isao had already felt the energy of Nemu’s power, and this was proof of what they were facing. He would have to be prepared to face his own ability. He just hoped that Mine would be fine on her own against that. He struck out against him, flinging his flail ahead of him.

(Mine’s perspective)

Every dodge was too close for comfort, and none of her hits were landing. Nemu had appeared to grow several sizes upon consuming that black ball, and it seemed she could control the entirety of it and move at will through it. That made it impossible to find her physical presence. Mine was definitely faster than her now, but she could hardly keep this up. Even in a vacuum, it was taxing to use her maximum speed.
More importantly, her opponent wasn’t flagging at all. It seemed like the lack of oxygen wasn’t hampering her. Gravitational increases wouldn’t help if she could not touch her. Moreover, things were starting to get dangerous. Every attack came closer to hitting as Nemu gained a feel for how Mine was fighting. She had to find a way to use Nemu’s abilities to her advantage, but how?
Nemu sprouted innumerable arms and charged at her. It was all she could do to avoid them, and she didn’t notice where she was stepping backward to. She all of a sudden felt a hole, and glanced back to see a tremendous amount of holes dotting their fighting area. One last dodge sent her reeling into the one that she had just touched. She fell, coming down on her knees in the black circle.
Nemu: Mayuri-sama also chose our abilities well. Those circles normally require force to push you into them. The friction that exists in normal environments makes it necessary. In this vacuum space, that friction disappears.
Mine: *sigh* Do you take me for a fool?
Mine’s right hand began to glow a light purple color, and she slammed its palm onto her chest. Immediately she began to rise out of the blackness.
Nemu: How?
Mine: You think that I can only remove friction in this area? I can increase it too. (her thoughts) Though not for long, and not without consequences. This isn’t an ability I can use often, it puts too much strain on me. Hopefully, I won’t have to.
She broke off her train of thought just as dozens of black ribbons seemed to form out of the ground around her. She moved quickly to get away, looking back to see Nemu growing in size. Her speed would likely remain the same. As she thought that, a blade suddenly came up from the ground and stabbed her in the right side. She gritted her teeth in pain, noting that the blade was her own. She hadn’t even realized that it had left her hand. She pulled the thing out and spun around. Nemu was now 10 times her original size and coming for her at a fast clip. Mine prepped her next kido spell, hoping to slow her down, though she felt at a loss for how to deal with something so powerful. She could spare no thoughts of Isao as blue light streamed from her hand.

(Isao’s perspective)

Isao: Tch!
The spiked ball of the flail was mostly melted though, and he threw the thing away. Mayuri had almost managed to burn his axe in half, thankfully he’d just barely saved it, though at the cost of two of the fingers on his left hand. Mayuri had somehow managed to make an ability like this ranged, and he was launching attack after attack at him, sending out small beams of red light after him as he ran. He had already taken several burning cuts, and a chunk had been taken out of his left ear.
Mayuri: What happened to that confidence? You seemed so capable before!
Isao: I’ll show you confidence. Bankai!
He almost instantly had the hammer in his hands, and was rushing at Mayuri. It felt strangely lighter than usual as he swung it around. Mayuri blocked with the palms of both hands, and searing heat cancelled out the shockwave of the attack, sending them both back a few feet from the pressure of it.
Mayuri: Haha! You’ll make the perfect specimen to add to my new collection! Both you and Mine will fuel my research for months!
Mayuri plunged his hands into the floor, melting the side of the tile and lifting it up, sending it hurtling at Isao. Isao took a step back and slammed into it with his hammer, utterly decimating it. He looked around for Mayuri, unable to see where he moved to.
Renee: Isao, beneath you!
Isao was both shocked to see her back and shocked by Mayuri’s sudden emergence from the ground beneath him. He barely managed to avoid his attack, though a mere touch to his pants leg lit them on fire. He quickly tore off a chunk of the fabric, and heavy burns were apparent on the leg itself.
Mayuri: Oh? It appears your friend over there saved your life, though as you can see, the heat radiating from my hands now affects a wider area than yours did.
Isao took some of the weight off of his leg, trying to reduce the pain. He’d been lucky, if not for that woman, he’d likely have lost the thing entirely.
Mayuri looked over at the woman, carefully analyzing her with his gaze.
Mayuri: What is your name, girl?
Renee: My name is Renee Chevalier, captain of the thirteenth squad. You’ll do well to remember it.
Isao’s eyes widened at that. Captain!? Without a blade? How was that even possible? Mayuri seemed shocked by it too. It was as though he’d never even seen her before, though the eyes and ears he had around Soul Society should have picked her up.
Mayuri shifted and was suddenly right next to her. She didn’t stir.
Mayuri: If that’s so, then you, my dear, would be a most interesting test subject.
Renee: Hmph! I’d love to see you try to take me.
Mayuri: MY PLEASURE!
His leg swept sideways at an incredible rate, though it merely went through an image of her. He blasted the location she arrived at with a larger beam, missing again. She kept shifting around, so fast that Isao could hardly keep up, and Mayuri kept missing. He began using kido spells, but to no avail, actually having to dodge several that were repelled back at him.
Mayuri: Well, well, you are a troublesome one. Fine. I’ll come get you after I finish with I…
He stopped himself as he turned around, noticing Isao with 5 Baoding balls in his hands and 1 in his mouth. As he ate it, a blast of cold air shot out from him, and snow flakes began falling over a large area around him. He stepped out from the mist, his skin now the color of light blue ice with dark blue icicles shooting out from his skin. Mayuri’s smile came back as he saw this.
Mayuri: Ah, another ability! I’ll take this one as well after I defeat you. If your last shows proved anything, it’s that you have limited control over the ability you harness. I have perfected this one, how do you intend to fight ba…
Isao appeared at his left arm. Mayuri spun around and placed that arm directly on Isao’s chest, waiting to hear the sizzle of flesh with a cackle half out of his mouth. He started as he noticed so such effect, looking over at the arm. The fire inside was gone, and where the fire had been at his elbow now appeared to be condensed ice. Isao had placed his hand on that site.
Mayuri: Why you…!
He attempted to strike out with his right arm, but already Isao was away. Mayuri looked at his arm in horror.
Isao: This ability isn’t like normal ice types. It freezes tissue underneath the skin, making you very vulnerable to attacks, but most importantly, making it very hard to unfreeze.
Mayuri continued to look at his arm, noticing that the flames on the other side were pressing against the fire, slowly melting it away. He looked up, his face now grim as he pointed his other hand at Isao, unleashing multiple beams of fire. Isao dodged, and as he did, he continuously knelt to the ground and touched it in various places. Mayuri’s face contorted with rage as he saw himself being made the fool of. He rushed at him.
Mayuri: Fire always beats ice Isao! And having you as a dead specimen is good enough!

(Mine’s perspective)

Speed was not enough to win this battle. Every time that Nemu slammed down her hand, insane amounts of black ribbons would pour out in every direction, and she hadn’t always missed. Mine had had to cut much of them off, with some success, though others remained. To compound the problem, she was running out of steam. Her old body just wasn’t keeping up with her like it used to.
What’s worse, Nemu wasn’t anywhere near beat. That girl just wouldn’t stop growing. She was 30 times her original size now, and still moving at the same pace. Attack after attack slammed down, and ranged strikes were becoming more and more common. Mine kept running, but suddenly stumbled and fell. One of the ribbons attached to her leg had climbed down to her ankle, and it had attached to the ground. She quickly cut it, but it was too late. Nemu was on top of her, bringing down her fist in what looked to be the final strike.
Mine: Shit!
Renee: Jikanteishi.
Suddenly, she was several dozen meters away, looking at Nemu’s back. Renee didn’t like using forbidden kido, but exceptions were sometimes made.
Mine: Thanks Renee.
Renee: She’ll find you soon enough. Are you going to use it or what?
Mine: She’s about the right size to make full use of it. Now is as good a time as any.
Renee: Alright, I’m not going to bail you out again.
Mine: You won’t have to.
Renee disappeared, and Nemu turned around, finally noticing Mine. She began running over to her, only to have the dagger that Mine carried land right in front of her with a small note attached. She looked up as she heard the groan of metal, the two large panels that allowed this vacuum to exist straining. Mine clapped her hands together.
Mine: Shōhi kyūin! (Consuming Suction)
The metal in the air seemed to fall apart and reform in incredible patterns. It ended on a formation looking much like a gigantic grate, which fell to the ground directly on top of Nemu. She appeared completely undamaged by it, and immediately extended a very long arm toward her opponent reaching it out to tremendous lengths.
Mine: Siphon!
Nemu’s arm suddenly plummeted downward to the grate. Her whole body came shortly after, and though she struggled, she could not rise.
Nemu: What…is this?
Mine: Do you know how most people use vacuums, Nemu? They use them to pump materials through very small spaces. A scientist might use one to pump liquid through a membrane with holes so small that you cannot see them. What remains on top is often too small to fall through, but everything becomes victim to that force. I suspected that the falling grate would do little to you, especially after you did nothing to stop its descent. That ability seems to provide you an opportunity to disperse your physical form into any sections of it you want. It’s no wonder I couldn’t hit you with that. But I’m certain that you’ve already condensed your form now, otherwise you would be falling through that grate with all that energy.
Nemu: Impossible. When did you…?
Mine: This ability? It’s the first one I learned. In shikai, it’s incredibly weak, but in bankai…well, let’s just say you’re the first real opponent I’ve tried it out on for a reason.
She walked onto the grate, slowly making her way over to where the collapsed Nemu struggled.
Mine: Feel free to work against it. With all that energy coming off of you, though, it will just get harder and harder.
She got right up next to her, leaned down next to her ear and said: It’s over.
Shockingly, Nemu smiled. Mine had to stop herself from pulling back. It was like watching a doll smile.
Nemu: Mayuri-sama will defeat Isao. But you, you aren’t getting away.
Mine: Really?
Nemu: My body has been secreting a poison through those ribbons that are now attached to you. That poison will kill you within minutes. You were an…interesting opponent, Mine. But this fight is mine.
Mine looked down at the many ribbons that were now peeling off of her in waves. She started to feel slightly faint, but steadied herself. She stood up, hands now glowing. Nemu’s smile went away.
Nemu: Can’t you see it’s over?
Mine: Over? I know what Mayuri’s planning, and it requires you. I’m going to make sure that he can’t use you anymore. I’m going to set you free.
Nemu’s eyes widened as a rain of blows struck her, pummeling her till she was out cold, and then for sometime after. Mine disbanded her ability, jerkily moving to sit down. She was out of energy, and though Renee came up next to her, kneeling next to her shoulder, she could hardly tell anymore.

(Isao’s perspective)

Mayuri stopped for a moment in his chasing of Isao, looking out toward where Nemu and Mine were fighting.
Mayuri: Well, it looks like the good Captain Commander managed to win her fight, though she won’t survive the aftermath. That poison will kill her in no time.
Isao lunged out at him, a small axe with frost covering it in his hand. He missed with this slice, though he had landed a few before. Mayuri had 4 lines cross-crossing his body that were encased in ice. His arm was still partially frozen at the elbow, though heat was starting to radiate in. He didn’t have much time left.
Mayuri: No need to get hasty. She’ll die soon enough, and you’ll go with her.
Numerous burn marks dotted Isao. The hair on the left side of his head had nearly been singed off, and he had lost an eyebrow. The liquid in his eyes kept being evaporated, and it made it nearly impossible to see. He was slowly wearing his opponent down though, the man was certainly becoming more cautious in his movements.
He struck out at Isao again, and Isao felt the back of the wall as he moved back to dodge it.
Isao: Shit!
A massive hole in the dome greeted Mayuri’s outstretched hand, which had just barely missed Isao, singing his cheek. Mayuri quickly jumped back from a counter attack, only to be hit in the knee by the remaining mass of a spiked ball, the ball from the flail that was used earlier.
Isao thinks: That will slow him down, and not a moment too soon.
Mayuri’s arm now radiated with warmth, the ice inside completely melted. He raised it, flexed it for a moment, and looked over to smile at Isao.
Mayuri: Now then, let’s see what you can do about this!
He unleashed a massive number of beams, one from each finger and each controlled individually. Isao didn’t have time to dodge them all, as each cut through various portions of him. One almost cut through the entirety of his right arm. He knelt against what little remained of the wall, writhing in pain.
Mayuri: Now you’ll die the same way I did!
He began limping toward Isao, hand outstretched to deliver the final blow. Isao looked on through determined eyes.
Mayuri: Still think you can defeat me? Learn to accept you…
His eyes went wide as he stumbled, falling with his good leg into a hole with a sickening snap.
Isao grinned himself: I was wondering how long that would take.
Mayuri: What the hell are you talking about?
Isao: Why do you think I’ve been touching the ground so often? You’re radiating intense heat. That heat is melting the tile and the soil beneath that. Eventually, you reached down the layers I was freezing, which had become brittle. All I had to do was get you to stop jumping around.
Mayuri: Why you!
Isao: Yes, why me.
He hefted his hammer, using the shoulder of his damaged arm as support while the other held it aloft. The hammer started to freeze over, and he swung it back. Mayuri had a horrified look to his face as he planted both hands on the ground, trying to melt what was around him, though it would do him little good. Isao brought his hammer forward into Mayuri’s chest, watching as the ice spread and cracked at the site of the strike and beyond. Most of his torso turned completely to ice, and as cracks formed, blood began to pour out and freeze itself.
Mayuri: I WILL NOT BE DENIED!
He pushed himself upward, somehow running on a broken and damaged leg, lunging out at Nemu’s body. The two seemed to writhe and come together, and when it was done, it appeared as just one body. Mayuri began to cackle, and slammed his hand down on the ground to force himself up, only to be shocked at his inability to do so.
Mine, her voice coming out in gasps, smiled at him: Did you think I wouldn’t prepare for that? I vastly increased her density. It doesn’t matter if you can somehow heal all wounds, the density is still too high for you to do more than move a limb. You’re done.
Mayuri looked up in panic, trying to speak out, but was unable to. The density of his own body had collapsed his voice box. Isao limped over to them from where he was sitting, body still encased in ice. He looked down at the struggling Mayuri.
Isao: Wouldn’t it be the ultimate disgrace of your life to die by an ordinary kido? Hado #54: Haien.
A blast of purple light came from his hand and engulfed Mayuri, incinerating his now powerless corpse on contact.

Part 3 (last part)

Isao walked over to the dying Mine, still wreathed in ice. As he let his ability go, the air around Mine began to get colder. He had known it was her, somehow. It didn’t help that she was dying of Nemu’s poison.
Isao: I should have taken her out back then. If I hadn’t been so distracted…
Renee: Don’t kid yourself. Mayuri had this planned out for years, any chance that things could go awry was impossible up to this point, and that only because those arrancar showed up.
Isao: Can she hear me?
Renee: No, she can’t respond either. The poison’s taken…
Her words left her lips as ice began to crawl up Mine’s right arm. Mine was looking straight into Isao’s eyes, though he was relatively sure she shouldn’t be able to see him. She reached out with her normal arm, touching his right cheek. It had been burned, but he didn’t wince. The hand quickly turned to ice, along with the rest of her, and she began to crack.
Renee: So that’s the side effect, eh? I had been wondering why you were so distraught over the loss of your wife. But Mine brought me here just in case.
Isao’s eyes flashed up to her: In case?
Renee: I can’t save her life, but the reason I’m here is to continue her legacy.
Isao: What does that mean?
Renee raised her left arm and plunged it into Mine’s chest. Isao’s outrage was replaced by shock as she pulled out a sword. It looked just like Mine’s. Mine’s body slowly disintegrated, the hand that had been on his face fell to the ground, and she was gone.
Renee: She’s been training me. It has not been easy learning without a sword, and I imagine it will be a while yet before I master even the shikai, yet this blade is the reason I am the thirteenth captain.
Isao: I suppose she wanted to make you Captain Commander, then?
Renee looked him straight in the eyes, her half-lidded gaze becoming narrow slits of green as she gave him a confused look.
Renee: You are the Captain Commander Isao. Not only would I not be ready, but she entrusted that position in you.
A shower of colored liquid appeared around them as Ryuu returned. Besides a few cuts and scratches, as well as a broken rib or two, he looked alright. Who knew how many hollow he had killed to protect them.
Ryuu: Where is…?
Isao shook his head slowly, and Ryuu’s gaze averted to the ground. Isao slowly stood up, and started to make his way out to where they had entered. They had fulfilled their duty, though the price was heavy.
Isao: We had best leave now, before we get into anything with those hollow outside. It feels like they are winning their fight.
As he left the dome, he turned back for a moment, looking at the spot where she had died. His face looked incredibly pained, as he pounded his hand against the wall, creating a massive crack that ran for 10 feet in multiple directions. He slowly turned back, and they began walking again.

(At the hollow fight)

Rey: Well, it appears the numbering system of the espada was outdated.
Before his group, only 3 espada. A fourth had just recently been put down, his body disintegrating as Rey crushed his skull. The rest had already been destroyed. Only one of the remaining espada was still standing, a young man with the number 2 on his neck, and though he was heavily damaged, he remained calm. The female espada, with a 9 on her palm, was crouched over in pain. The remaining espada had the number 4 at the small of his back, and was down on one knee, gasping for air. They were no longer under Mayuri’s control, yet each of them was unwilling to let up.
Boido: Do we really have to kill them? These ones might be useful at some point in the future.
Huabu: All of them? But that would give us an odd number! Besides, 4 is so much better than 7.
Dormirarbol: I think you’ll just have to bear it, Huabu. 4 is not enough to replace 10.
Huabu stalked off in a huff, though her steps were measured, always moving the exact same amount each time.
Rey: Very well, as long as they’re willing to follow me. What are your names?
???: Majiyo. Though as far as I’m concerned, you can call me what ever you want, big boy.
???: Hmph! Like hell I’m going to follow you. Name’s Reaper, remember it well.
???: You’ll get no subservience from me either. Gekido, it’s the last name you’ll know.
Rey smiled. He had always enjoyed a good test of his pride.
Boido: So that would be Lust, Greed, and Wrath, then?
Reaper: Like hell we are! We’re espada, call us by our real names!
Boido: If the shoe fits…
Reaper: Why you little…!
Majiyo: Reaper, stop. No more fighting. Who wants to celebrate, with me?
She blew their former opponents a kiss, though without any reaction from them. She crossed her arms in a huff, but stood silent.
Boido looked over at the smoldering ruins of Las Noches, sighing. Having to rebuild all of that might give him something to do, but it would hardly fill the void. Perhaps one of these three would be able to provide him with what he yearned for. They began to walk towards the dome, moving slowly due to their injuries on weariness. As they did, he thought to himself about the soul reapers who had been here before. Their reception next time would be far less welcoming.

(Present time)

Isao awoke again from his fitful sleep. It had become harder and harder to get anything resembling a good night’s sleep since that fateful day, but it was always the most difficult after he had made a fateful decision. He remembered the decisions Mine had made, decisions like sending the second squad into Hueco Mundo for a covert operation. How many times had Titus come to him after that, in hopes that he could garner some reason for it happening? He could never tell him, that’s probably why the boy left. Had Mine regretted putting the second squad captain in the situation she was now, as this “Chiyo”?
He wasn’t certain of his decisions anymore. He had made every decision based on the end result, but had ignored the path to that end. He knew he had wronged people, but he also knew he had to stay determined and focused on his path. That was the only way to ensure that he was strong enough to protect this place.
Isao went over to the window and looked out. The sun was just rising, casting its light on the still sleeping residents of Soul Society. Had he chosen the wrong path to his goal? Had he been impulsive sending captains over to the Rising Suns? And why had he decided to work with these mercenaries? Could he really trust them at all? He had known it was a mistake sending two lower members of the 11th squad out to greet them, especially those two, but he had been short on hands. Had he caused irreparable damage as a result?
He shook his head, trying to put these thoughts out of his mind. It was thoughts like this that had made him so weak in the first place, that had caused him so much doubt and uncertainty. He couldn’t afford that. As Captain Commander, his duty was to protect this place. No matter the cost.
Those words rang hollow for him. “No matter the cost.” He had paid dearly for his past actions, and he knew that his current actions would be greeted with consequences as well. Then why did it feel like a storm was coming, one that was just over the horizon, just out of sight?
Renee: Can’t sleep again?
He had felt her enter. He turned around to see her in her normal spot, leaning against the wall. Whereas age had hit him hard since Mine’s death, Renee looked exactly the same as when he met her, though now the sword at her waist spoke volumes. He wasn’t sure how far along she was in training with that thing, but he knew that the abilities had changed with the wielder.
Isao: How could I sleep, with our world in such turmoil?
Renee: Losing sleep over it will just make you a poor fighter.
Isao: Care to test that?
Renee: And spiky too. I’m sure if you went over to the 4th squad barracks they would have sleeping medication. Or are you too scared that falling asleep leaves you and others in danger?
Isao: My sleep patterns none of your concern. How did the mission go?
Renee sighed: You were right. The espada have lost a member, though they’re scrambling to get a new one. I recognize the energy of 6 of them, 3 of whom were part of that group of espada they had supposedly defeated.
Isao: Good. We’ll talk tomorrow about plans of attack.
Renee moved to leave, walking toward the door and grabbing the handle. There, she looked around at Isao.
Renee: Isao…
Isao: I said we’ll talk tomorrow. Leave me be.
She opened the door and left. Isao still saw her as a black box, one he was at a loss to understand. He took a deep breath, and started walking toward his office. If he couldn’t sleep, he might as well catch up on the work Satoshi was getting behind on.

A few new characters on page 107 of Make a Zanpaktou. They will not be playing a big role in the war, they all appear later.

------Path to Hell------

Shado and the rest of the Ace of X were running down Crow’s reiatsu made path to Heuco Mundo.
Shado: (Noticing his hand was slightly bleeding from grabbing his sword back near the Elementary) Damn.
Crow: (looks over at Shado) Is he giving you trouble again?
Shado: Yeah sort of he will stop it when we get to Heuco Mundo, for some strange reason he loves it there.
Crow: Oh ok man just wanted to make sure you were all right.
Shado: Thanks Crow (Thoughts) He hasn’t changed since they day we met.
Shado then started to remember that day.

-FLASHBACK-
Shado was 11 at the time and he was playing outside with his sister.
Shado: Come on May, you are such a slowpoke
May: (Breathing heavily) No fair Shado you started early!
Shado: Did not!
May: Did too!
Shado: Did n-
There was a sudden scream coming from in their house.
Shado: Mom!
Shado and May quickly ran to their home and walked in to a horrifying site. Their father was killed by a very large hollow and it was going for his mother.
May: MOMMY!
May ran towards the hollow trying to kill it but the hollow easily punched her away causing her to slam into a wall and pass out.
Hollow: I’ll get to her later now on to you. (Looks over at Shado’s mother)
Shado: Leave her alone!!
Shado threw 2 cooking knifes at the hollow which pierced it in the arm and the hollow yelled in pain.
Hollow: YOU FUCKING LITTLE BRAT, IM GOING TO KILL YOU AS SOON AS I KILL THAT BITCH!
The hollow then grabbed his mother head and slammed it against the wall, a sickening crack was heard when she hit the wall the hollow then threw his mother to the ground like a small child throws away a toy it doesn’t want.
Hollow: Now it’s your turn
The hollow started to walk over to Shado but then a man about the age of 14came in he was wearing a cowboy getup that was a bit too large for him and he was pointing a gun directly at the hollows head.
?: Now since you killed this little boy’s parents I’m going to end your sick and pathetic life.
The man then pulled the trigger sending a bullet directly into the hollows mask killing it immediately. He then turned around and looked down at shadow.
?: What’s your name kid.
Shado: (Wiping away tears) M-my name is Sh-Shado Senken, thank you so much for saving my life.
?: No problem kid, My name is Crow Hakaba nice to meet you.
Shado: before you leave c- can I ask you a question?
Crow: Yeah what is it?
Shado: (Wiping tears away again) I want to come with you could you make me help me get stronger so I can protect the family I have let (looks over at his sister who began to wake up)
Crow: (Smiles) Sure, you and your sister will fit just perfectly with the rest of the group.
Crow looked over at 2 people those to people being Saito and Toni. Crow walked over to May and picked her up and handed her too Toni so she could patch up some of her wounds.
Crow: Ok now Shado Lets go we need to get you too fixed up.
Shado: Ok Crow. (Puts on a small smile)
With that Crow, Toni, May, Saito and Shado walked out of the destroyed house, Shado was the only one too look back.

In Soul Society

Satoshi was walking into the ruins of Isao's office as Akihiko was nailing up a piece of wood. He thinks to him self that he would really like to help the poor kid but there is not time for it now. Isao is sitting at his desk behind a mountain of paper work rubbing his eyes and temples trying to shake a headache he’s had since Crow originally showed up. Again Satoshi wishes he could help but there isn’t time now. Satoshi approaches the desk and drops the pile of paper that was in his hands with a loud thud and Isao barley looks up. When he starts to look down Isao notices a different than normal look in Satoshi’s eyes.

Isao: Is there something you want to say?
Satoshi: I’m taking a leave of absence ill be back in a couple days. (Satoshi turns to walk away)
Isao: You cannot be serious, there is too much going on here for you to take a little vacation boy. (Isao has stood up and without realizing it he slammed his hands on the desk hard and raised his voice)
Satoshi: (In a stern voice as he looks over his shoulder at Isao) I said ill be back in a couple days, Make do without me old man.
Isao: (Thinking to self) He’s never talked to me like that, something must be up, but I have no time to deal with it, he should be fine but he picked a fine time to show a back bone (To Satoshi) Get out of my sight then.

Over in the corner where Akihiko was working he is staring at the two hardly able to breath. The two unconsciously raised their spirit pressure. Akihiko thinks to him self that things are crazy around here but says nothing. Satoshi walks out of the room just out side the door he relaxes his spirit pressure and vanishes.

Under a tall tree near the kido corps Satoshi is holding an old picture that was taken of him and Rose at a festival a couple weeks before she was killed. The picture reminded him of the long night of fun the two shared. Eating sweets, playing with fire works, running under an endless rain of confetti. Tears start welling up in his eyes and drip down on to the picture on Rose’s face.

Satoshi: (Barely auditable) I’m so sorry, Ill finally make it right.

Satoshi then wipes the tears from his face and tucks the picture in his shirt. He then stands up, and ties a piece of cloth around his face just under his eyes as he stares at the doors to the kido corps. Since Aizen for some reason the kido corps has been more of a fortress than a center for learning of the arts of kido. This is because the learning of kido has been limited to prevent any more abusing of it. Satoshi working for Isao know well the layout of the kido corps and the guard positioning. The east door that Satoshi was regularly used for the new guard trainees. It was wide open and had more than the standard guards but they were in experienced.

Satoshi: If I do this now there is no turning back, am I ready… (Satoshi flashes back through all of his memories. Images flashing of Rose and him skipping clash, of principal Ayano punishing him when he was caught, Isao teaching him how to fight, how to control his power. At the end of the stream of images the picture of Rose and Satoshi stayed.) Even if I die, as long as she’s alive ill be happy.

Satoshi vanishes and appears just in front of the 4 guards out side the door.

Satoshi: (In a muffled voice as he raises his hands like he is surrendering) Just let me pass, I don’t want to hurt you;

Guard: We can’t do that, now get out of here.

Satoshi: (Muffled voice) I won’t

Guard: Have it your way

The guard draws his blade and swings clumsily at Satoshi but Satoshi spins around and grabs his wrist, crushing it and throwing him into one of the other guards. The other two got up both pointing their hands at him and beginning a long incantation. Before either can finish Satoshi jumps forward and punched one in the gut knocking him out and chopping other across the base of the skull. Just then a man was walking out the door. Horror runs across his face as he turns and fumbles a switch which sets off an alarm.

Satoshi: (Thinking to self) Damn it

Satoshi leaps over the man in the hall who was covering his head with his hands and runs down the hall. A couple of men pop out of rooms and quickly fire off some energy blast but Satoshi weaves in-between the two blasts. Pausing just for a second in-between the two who were preparing to fire another shot off then vanishing as their blast collide and explode knocking the two back and giving Satoshi a burst of speed. From memory Satoshi knew he must go down to the bottom basement floor to get where he wants to go and the stairs are no longer an option, this floor has been sealed off the moment the alarm was pulled. Now a rather small and sickly young man comes out of the door at the far end of the hall

Young man: Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens Sōren Sōkatsui


A glow of blue energy focuses on the boys palm but just before it launches Satoshi appears in front of the boy and grabs his arm as if he is gunna throw the boy down the hall but instead just points his hands at the floor and jumps up. The blast is fired blowing a hole through the floor of the building then the boy collides with the roof and passes out. Satoshi lands next to the hole and sets the boy down gently then does a backward dive down the hole.

Satoshi: I just hope he isn’t down there…..

Satoshi flies down many levels and finally lands in the bottom floor of the basement.

Satoshi: Well getting in wasn’t as hard as expected, but getting out is gunna be a pain.

???: Yes, it will. That is, if your able to get out

Satoshi: (Thinking to self) Shit. (Looking over his shoulder he sees a rather large and fat man standing about ten feet behind him in the middle of the room filled with dusty shelves of scrolls and vials of unmarked fluids)Kuan…you certainly have come a long way since you’re vice principal days...

Kuan: Id recognizes those eyes anywhere. Satoshi. What could possibly compel you to throw your life away like this boy.

Satoshi: Rose…

Kuan: (Suddenly shocked and glancing down to a isle of scrolls to his left then back at Satoshi and yelling) She’s dead, there is nothing you can do, Go put some flowers on her grave and ill talk Isao into not killing you for this.

Satoshi: (With an almost murderous tone) where is it?

Kuan: I have no clue wh…(Satoshi vanishes and reappears with his released blade at Kuan’s throat) I can’t tell you, if you did that you would die

Satoshi: But shed live (pushing the tip of the blade closer)

Kuan: There is no guarantee that you can even succeed at the incantation.

Satoshi: I don’t suppose I can convince you to assist me

Kuan: No you can’t Byakurai! ( A bolt of lightning flies from his finger tip towards Satoshi’s hip. Satoshi jumps to the side but gets grazed as his hip starts trickling with a little blood) HAHA boy, I know your blade, the less I move the easier to hit you are.

Satoshi: I don’t want to hurt you Kuan. Just give me the scroll and ill be on my way.

Kuan: As if I'd do something like that! Rikujōkōrō Hiryugekizokushintenraiho (Kuan still using the hand that shot the Byakurai, fired the Rikujōkōrō then raising the hand up fired the Hiryugekizokushintenraiho The six pillars hit Satoshi and held him still then he was blasted with the huge bolt of lightning) Just give up

Satoshi: (Singed and burned all over and coughing up blood) Fine, I have no choice Bankai (wind blows all around Satoshi and the Rikujōkōrō was knocked off. Satoshi still holds the same looking blade as before but now the cloth that wraps the handle is wrapped around his wrist and up his fore arm The blade of the sword is same length but instead of a blade is a rapid flowing wind barrier making it looks like a club)

Kuan: You can’t be serious

Satoshi: (A glare in his eyes as he pants) But Vice principal, I am….(Satoshi then vanishes and appears behind Kuan who turns to face Satoshi but Satoshi shifts around and stays behind Kuan and hits Kuan across the back knocking him forward into the wall. When the dust settles Kuan looks up and sees Satoshi has jumps and is about to come down like he is gunna stab Kuan. Kuan swings his hand to punch Satoshi away but just before his fist strikes Satoshi shifts again and again he strikes Kuan with his blunted blade knocking him tumbling across the floor. This time Kuan pulls off a feat of acrobatics a man his size should be capable of and lands on his feat pulling out a dagger from in his shirt drawing it and going on the offensive. Kuan swings and stabs at Satoshi over and over but never coming close to hitting him, The whole time Satoshi is shifting back and forward almost as if he him self is made of the air around the two. Satoshi hits Kuan in the face with his blade again knocking him back.

Satoshi: Now its you who should just give up, I don’t want to hurt you more than I have.

Kuan: I won’t let your have the scroll Fire Quick Hornet!!! ( Kuan points his dagger at Satoshi and the blade flies from the handle across the room at bullet speed)

Just before the blade strikes Satoshi he shifts to the right dodging it then vanishing and appearing above Kuan with the tip of his blade an inch from Kuan's head. Then Satoshi releases the barrier around his blade firing a tornado of wind at Kuan crushing him into the ground and shredding him and most of his clothing. After Satoshi lands he reaches down to Kuan’s neck and feels a pulse.

Satoshi: Good I didn’t kill him….fat bastard needs to not fight as hard….anyway, he looked over here earlier.

Satoshi walks and looks down the isle. At the end of it by the wall is a dark alter. It’s about wait high being held up with 4 demons standing back to back all crying tears of blood. Then there is a scroll being held by an angel coming out of the wall. The angel is the purest of white holding a scroll that is the darkest of black. On the scroll is a seal that says “ The end begins”

Satoshi: Alrighty, time to get out of here *cough* but that wont be easy. (He starts spinning his blade around him building up a barrier of wind so that the blade was like it was when bankai started. He then walks to the hole in the roof of the basement and looks up to see many heads peering down. Then fallowed by a lot of incantations and lights. Satoshi points his blade up and releases it again knocking all the blasts away and all the people near the hole back several feet. He then Jumps out of the hole to the ground level again spinning his blade around and charging too the door. There is on man 7 feet tall 5 feet wide and pure muscle standing between Satoshi and the door way. He is holding a large war hammer that the head being about the size of Satoshi’s whole body. The man picks it up and swings. Satoshi smiles, just as the head of the hammer is about to strike Satoshi, he shifts forward and swings his blade releasing the wind on the back end launching the blade forward even harder, The blade digs deep into the mans stomach and almost gets stuck in his muscles but then the added force of Satoshi shifting forward and releasing his barrier round the blade knock him back through the door and tumbling out side. Satoshi pauses before exiting the building for a second to catch his breath then hunkers down and vanishes, not reappearing until he is out side of Seireitei. He then releases his bankai and falls back to catch his breath.

After a few hours of resting Satoshi staggers to his feet and runs to a clear open field as far from society as he can find. He then opens the scroll and begins drawing a large circle in the field. The circle is filled with many marking from a language long lost to anybody, Also many smaller circles triangle and squares all intertwined in the larger circle.

Satoshi: Looks like almost all preparations are complete, except I need something of hers…(Satoshi suddenly realizes that the rose stitched in his shirt is one he took from Rose’s shirt after she was killed.)

He rips the rose out and places it in the center of the circle then begins saying a long incantation that takes about an hour to finish, At the end the circle lights up white and all the spirit particles in the circle and for a good distance around it are drawn into the center of the circle. There is then a huge explosion knocking Satoshi back and out. When he wakes he looks forward and sees a crater that is 2 miles wide and a mile deep.

Satoshi: I’m still alive,. Does that mean its failed…Wait…(Getting really excited Satoshi sees something that looks a lot like a person laying curled up in a fetal position) Maybe the spirit energy required was taken from the area, instead of me…(Satoshi runs and trips and tumbles down the side of the crater then at bottom gets up and runs towards the center, to the person. He got there and saw, it was in fact Rose, but not the rose he remembered, This rose has grown up, and looks the way he expects her to look if she didn’t die. She is lying in the wet mud completely void of clothing except the tattered cloth with a rose on it that he place in the center of the circle and a katana in a rose colored sheath and rose shaped cross guard. Satoshi took off his outer shirt and wrapped Rose with it then he suddenly realizes, She’s not breathing.

Satoshi: (Tears flowing down his face) No, No, No…*sob* So close *Sob* No (Satoshi Starts doing CPR) NO NO NO NO!!!!

???:Stop Crying dummy, and get your hands away from there, I don’t put out on the first date…

Satoshi:…Rose

???: I prefer Rozu
Satoshi: Rozu It is (Satoshi smiles a little as he helps her up. Slowly they start walking towards Seireitei Satoshi tells Rozu about everything that’s happened over the years.

A man is seen in Hueco Mundo. He has brown hair and a toned body. He wears the shinigami's robes. He is surrounded by Hollows but they do not strike at him. A arrancar appears beside him.

Arrancar: I see you mastered that little ability of yours.

???: Not entirely. It takes up a good amount of my resita. (He runs his hands acrossed his bloddy zanpakuto and all the hollows he had under his control die.)

Arrancar: So what do you plan to do. Bryce Tema.

Bryce: The soul society will pay for banishing me. My experiments were for the better of it. I will strike whe they show signs of weakness. I need you to prepare an army of hollows to attack the 80th wukon district.

Arrancar: Why there?

Bryce: I feel generous. Those people have suffered for so long. Why not put them out of there misery. How do the other arrancar fair?

Arrancar: They have not reported back.

Bryce: Oh well. I wonder how they will react when they see me come home. And I also see we have had disturbances.

This is just a start off.

I must agree with Lobos! Nice opening post onix! Its just great to have another character that hates Soul Society, this gives me another great idea! The "SUN" just seems to be shining brighter today!

Heh, I'll be intrigued to see the attack on Soul Society from that character. We'll see how he stacks up.

Hi, I would like to join your rp, my character is on page 95 on make your zanpakuto and if you want his name,it is at page 99

*sigh* I have no idea what I'm going to write this round. Going to need to arrange some fights with people, I've got 3 backstories in mind, but rather than just go into more of that, I'd like to actually do something. I guess anyone who wants to start something with one of my more minor characters (I believe Isao will be busy in a bit), I'd be down to get something going. I know that my arrancar is watching for intruders in Hueco Mundo, Chiyo's with Miroku, and Titus and Hideaki are off somewhere uncertain.

Oh, and Zangetsu, feel free to post an introductory bit to your character on here (like, insert him into the story).

--- Emergency Meeting, The War Has Begun! ---

Isao is standing in a large room as he reads a letter from Central 46. There is no furniture in the room but there are 13 symbols on the wall; 6 symbols on the left wall, 6 on the right and Squad 1's symbol on the back wall where Isao is standing. There is also a soul reaper from Squad 1 that is just standing in for the time being as Satoshi is away.

Isao: (sighs) First you bring me a photo and call it evidence to attack the Rising Suns, and now this too!
Soul Reaper: (nervously) Whats wrong head captain?
Isao: Its the order that was sent down from Central 46.
Soul Reaper: What does it say, if you don't mind me asking?
Isao: Well... I was hoping Zane misunderstood the order he was given, but since he is head of the assassination squad, he gets this type of info first. The rumors were circling around but now I have to confirm it. (thinking to himself) Nothing good will come from this! (Now talking to the soul reaper) Sound the alarm!
Soul Reaper: Yes Sir!

The soul reaper walks over to the corner of the room near the Squad 1 symbol on the wall. There is a small button that says for emergencies only and the soul reaper pushes it. Suddenly a very loud sound is blasted from a horn on the outside of the building and is heard all through out the spirit world. Akihiko is still up fixing Isao's office.

Akihiko: Damn that's loud! Well I better get going, Amiro told me what that sound means. (Akihiko vanishes)

In Squad 4's barracks, Dawn is sitting at Amiro's bed side as he is still healing from his fight with Coran.

Amiro: That's the sound for the emergency meeting.
Dawn: I wonder what that is about?
Amiro: I have an idea, but I won't be able to go. Hopefully Akihiko is going but you should go to just in case.
Dawn: Understood! (Dawn vanishes)

Zane and Rena are standing at the front gate with the rest of there squad. There is also a huge man standing there as well.

Rena: That's the emergency alarm! Do you thank "he's" here already?
Zane: I doubt it, I've known Miroku for a long time. He likes to make flashy entrances, plus his reiatsu is too large to conceal.
Rena: Yeah that is true.
Zane: (looking at his squad and the large man) Okay everyone. We are the first line of defense for Soul Society. If anyone approaches and does not have the badge of Soul Society, then they must be killed on the spot!
Group of soul reapers: Yes Sir!
Zane: (now focused on the big guy) Alright Ganju, no one is to get through the gate. Now remember, we don't know how many people Miroku has but I doubt they are all as strong as him. But in the case that Miroku decides to come through the front, sound the alarm so that I can help you fight. Miroku is not your everyday soul reaper, his power is almost equal to the head captains! (all of the soul reapers look shocked as Zane speaks about Miroku's power)
Ganju: Don't worry sir. No one gets past me!
Zane: Good, that's what I wanted to hear. Miroku will never abandon a friend so I know he is coming. I'm gonna be honest with you all. (Zane hangs his head down) Not everyone will make it out of this ordeal alive, I don't even know if I will survive it, but I do want you all to know that it has been an honor to serve as your captain.
Soul Reapers: (All the soul reapers lift up there blades and yell) No one will every beat us captain!
Zane: (smiles) Be safe guys. Lets go Rena.
Rena: Okay (Zane and Rena vanish)

Yokoshimo, captain of squad 7, is now on his way to the meeting!

Yokoshimo: Hmm... I was hoping this war could be avoided but I guess that was just impossible. I wonder how he plans on dealing with the kid. (As he thinks to himself someone appears next to him) What's with the sudden entrance squad 11 captain?
Jin: Its nothing I just got bored. All this talk about the coming war has everyone in an uptight mood.
Yokoshimo: Shouldn't they be?
Jin: Yeah I guess so. We better hurry up and get to the meeting. No telling when Miroku will show up. (Jin and Yokoshimo vanish)

Satoshi is walking with Rozu back to Squad 1's barracks.

Rozu: (covering her ears) What is that sound?
Satoshi: Its the emergency alarm.
Rozu: Whats the emergency?
Satoshi: Don't worry about it Rozu, we won't be getting involve in this pointless fight.

Miroku is standing a few feet away from the ruins of his former hideout.

Miroku: I remember that sound. They rang that alarm when Saijin created that Vasto Lorde all those years ago. That means they must be taking serious precautions for me. I better be careful about how I go into soul society now. (Miroku begins to walk towards Soul Society as he forms a plan. And Chiyo reappears beside him)
Chiyo: I can't sense Titus or Hideaki anywhere.
Miroku: I guess they must not be in the spirit world anymore.
Chiyo: What's with that loud ringing?
Miroku: I'll explain that on the way, right now we head to Soul Society!

Back at the office where Isao is waiting, a flash of green enters the room.

Isao: I knew you would be the first to appear, Renee.
Renee: Yeah, this is a serious matter so I wanted to be on time for this. So are the rumors true?
Isao: I'll get to that when everyone arrives. (as he speaks, Captain Kouji enters and takes his place without saying a single word. Zane and Rena arrive afterwards followed by Akihiko and Dawn. Jin and Yokoshimo enter after them.)
Renee: Wow, this is all we got? We need to get the rest of these captain seats filled.
Isao: While I do agree with you, that is the least of our worries for now. Alright I believe this is everyone. Okay Zane, tell them everything you know!
Zane: Yes Sir! As you all know, my squad as well as Squad 3 was sent on a mission that was demanded by Central 46 to infiltrate the Rising Suns base. (No one looks surprised as the rumors spread so quick through Soul Society, so everyone knew that much)
Jin: (smiling) Tell us something we don't know Zane.
Zane: Well when we were there, we got into quite the fight with some of there members. Most noticeably was a man named Coran.
Renee: Coran? Wasn't he one of the men that escaped from prison with Miroku.
Akihiko: Yes he was, and he was strong as hell.
Dawn: How would you know who he was, you just joined a little while ago?
Akihiko: I looked up on the history of Miroku before we left so I could be prepared.
Dawn: And you still got beat-up?
Zane: Relax you two. Anyway, like they said he was strong and he is the reason why Amiro is still in recovery. But we were still able to beat him.
Renee: Wait, you killed Coran? No wonder everybody is scared. You know Miroku is gonna come in here ready to kill everyone now that we killed Coran. Why didn't you just talk to him to see if that photo was true.
Zane: Because that was our orders.
Kouji: Good job you guys. That's the proper way to deal with people that go against the law.
Yokoshimo: You should rethink that statement Kouji, all this did was make things worst for everyone. You know it will be impossible to get through this without any casualties.
Isao: Enough! What's done is done! Now hurry and tell them the rest Zane.
Zane: (sighs) I received another order from Central 46 earlier today. When we were at the Rising Suns base. We captured another member of his group, a girl named Asoka, and Central 46 has order her to be executed. (All the captains look in shock)
Dawn: Executed? But she willingly turned herself in. Why is she gonna be executed.
Akihiko: That seems to be a little bit extreme if you ask me.
Kouji: Well that's what happens when you defy them.
Renee: What a minute. You said her name is Asoka? Isn't that Sunny's granddaughter?
Isao: Yes she is.
Jin: This is crazy, they want to kill her because she is Sunny's granddaughter! Is Central 46 trying to piss Miroku off?
Isao: Trust me I understand how you all feel but orders are orders even if we don't like them. It pains me to say this but the execution is official and will happen in 8 hours. Understood! (The majority of the captains do not look happy but they all agree to uphold the law. Everyone leaves to go inform there squads about what is gonna happen. Renee stays to talk to Isao.) This will not be seen as a proud moment for Soul Society but laws need to be upheld.
Renee: I know this is not something you wanted to do but you had no choice. Central 46 just doesn't like outsiders who they view as threats to their law.
Isao: I know but is there any reason to make an example out of that girl?
Renee: I understand how you feel and I'm not happy about this either, but remember what Mine told us. Sometimes we will have to do things that we don't agree with, but being in the positions that we are, we have to uphold the law. Well I'm gonna go inform my squad of the meeting. Don't beat yourself up over this Isao, it will all be over soon, hopefully. (Renee vanishes)
Isao: (thinking to himself) First his sister, (Isao remembers watching Moriko burst into flames from his bankai's ability) Then I didn't speak up for him that day, (Isao now remembers when Miroku was put in jail for not agreeing with Central 46) I authorized the mission that killed his friend Coran, and now I have to kill Asoka. (sighs) It just seems like I'm destined to mess Miroku's life up!

-Outside of Soul Society-
There is a large mansion in the middle of a huge field. The exterior of the mansion is gray limestone and is three stories high. The mass of the building is characterized by alternating bands of rough and smooth finished stone, and is enlivened by porticoes, piazzas and bay windows. From the outside of the structure, there are a number of noticeable leaded window panels framed by the massive façade. In the front of the mansion reads "Noble Household of the Kuchiki Clan"! In the back of the mansion lies a large pool and a women in a bathing suit is sitting on the stairs going into the pool. One of her servants walks up to her.

Servant: Pardon me Ms. Ariza but would you like me to bring you anything?
Ariza: Oh no I'm fine, but thanks anyways.
Servant: You're welcome, but I also came to tell you that you have a visitor at the front.
Ariza: I visitor? (Ariza gets out of the pool and grabs a towel. As she heads to the front door she sees a man waiting there for her. This man has regular soul reaper clothes but is wearing a cloak with the Noble Genryusai crest on it.) Long time no see Dori!
Dori: Yes it has been a while. How are you doing?
Ariza: I'm fine. What's up? (Dori and Ariza walk outside to talk)
Dori: Have you seen the newspaper?
Ariza: Yes I have. I can't believe they are actually gonna start a war with Miroku!
Dori: Yeah I know, I haven't seen him since he we were all in the academy.
Ariza: I hope he is alright, I heard that they killed one of his friends and you know how Miroku is about his friends. So he will definitely respond to their attacks.
Dori: So what do you plan on doing?
Ariza: I'm not sure! I haven't felt Miroku's reiastu so he hasn't shown up yet. Hopefully he won't get hurt.
Dori: So then... are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Ariza: I don't wish to make an enemy out of Soul Society, but I will protect Miroku with my life. After all, I do owe him. (Ariza and Dori stop for a second as they look up into the sky and see three beams of light crash into the barrier around Soul Society)
Dori: (confused) What was that?
Ariza: I'm not sure but it seems that the war has begun.

-Inside Soul Society-
A building is destroyed and as the dust settles, there are three figures standing there.

Cai: Alright guys, Asoka is somewhere in here, we just have to find her!

Cai, Sanji and Vulknur have arrived in Soul Society ready to fight. The War Has Begun!

Awesome, man. Couple of things. First, I think I'm going to just say skip me for this go around, especially since it seems like we're setting up a lot and I'd like to talk out some things before I work on my post. Second, I posted a more complete version of Isao's blade on the "Make your own zanpakuto" forum with all the abilities that have been used and some hints as to the abilities that will be used. Feel free to check it out.

Oh yeah I saw it. One of those abilities has me a little worried, but I will just wait to see what happens.

Might just slow it down for now, no need to work too hard to get that done. It seems like we're moving into a phase that requires a lot of character/character interaction, and it's going to take time to work out how things go and end up.

I agree. I had to wait for a few people to message me back before I posted so I could know how their characters would react to some things. We are at an intense part of the story so we should take our time to make it as good as possible.

This is going to be a series of flashbacks in my next couple of post that will act as a filler arc of sorts

---A Higher Purpose Part 1---

It had not been long after Ace of X had enter Hueco Mundo when they were met by a sand storm created by the fighting of Ryuu and Majiyo, they were bunkered down in a hole like area. Thankfully Toni had brought one of her patented “tricks” in her big ole bag of tricks, a blanket called Fantasma de la Hoja (ghost sheet), the blanket was made of a special material that not only covered spiritual energy but also made the wearer invisible they were all were a cloak variation of this material so that they could move undetected. They were using the blanket as a canopy of sorts so that they could stay hidden. Crow was sitting against a wall with Toni sleeping on his chest, he knew she was sleeping because he felt a warm damp spot on his chest where her mouth was, Toni wasn’t the only one sleeping he had told them all to get some rest while they wait a little for this storm to calm down after all it had been a very hard few days. Leigh-Ann and Frio were sleeping; this was expected after all they were just children. Leigh-Ann was lying next to Josh, she had taken to him quite well and he too her, who was reading Uryu journal like a mad man. Saito was watching Shado play Pac-man which was weird Saito normally thought that playing video games was stupid, Sephiria and Roy were reading The Art of War and Catcher in the Rye respectably and Natsu, Jenos, and Zelman were smoking. Crow was looking around at all of them and thinking how he had met them and became friends with them, he smiles to himself thinking about it. Shado was just 11 years old when Crow first met him, back when Fudo was still in charge infact that was Crow first mission, thinking on how he met all these people made him think of the first people he actually call “friends”; Miroku, Rose, Bulk, Lupin, Bardock, Kuesu, and Hidan. Wow Miroku was right friends do serve a higher purpose Crow remember the way it was back then.

SOME TIME IN THE PAST

It had been two weeks after the hollow attack at the orphanage, Crow was walking along a street wearing his blue half jacket, white t-shirt, and jeans on he had recently come to like cowboy hats and found one of his uncle to wear it was a little too big to wear but he like it that way he was also wearing a black back pack. Next to Crow was Miroku, Crow still hated this kid A LOT but he was proving time after time to be a very good rival recently during the past two weeks Crow and Miroku have been having little sparring fights it was perfect Crow got to beat this kid up, have fun, and Ikumi counted it as hand to hand combat practice. Close behind them was Rose and Kuesu if Crow hated Miroku he hated Rose even more she constantly pointed out that her family had wealth and she still has not forgiven Crow for what he said but for some reason he always caught her staring at either him or Miroku and would agree with whatever plan the two would come up with. Behind the girls were Lupin and Hidan who were discussing some scientific stuff and than behind them were Bardock and Bulk. This set up was not coincidental nor was it Crow plan, in fact if Crow had his way then none of them would be following him, this was all Miroku idea. Miroku thought this was the best way to walk so that they looked organized and like a legitimate gang. Miroku was trying to talk to Crow about something but Crow really didn’t care.

Miroku: (poking Crow on the side of the head) Crow, Crow, Crow, Crow, Crow, Crow……
Crow: (comical veins appearing above him with each mention of his name) WHAT!!!!
Miroku: (laughing) We need to figure out a cool name for our group, do you have any suggestions?
Crow: (rubbing his face in annoyance) First of all there is no group, we are rivals not best buddies you said it your stuff we are rivals. What rivals hang out with each other?
Hidan: Actually Crow….
Crow: Hidan I don’t want a history lessons on rivals who hung out all the time. Don’t you guys have anywhere to be expect follow me around you starting to freak me out.
Miroku: No we don’t actually (everybody except Crow laughs) by the way Crow what in the back pack did you pack us a lunch.
Crow: (sighs) No I did not it…its homework (this wasn’t a complete lie the back pack was filled with specials weights as part of his training/punishment given to him by Ikumi. The weights get heavy the more Crow walks)
Miroku: What kind of homework is it tough, do you have a lot of it, who gave you homework.
Crow: I wish I had a gun to shoot you with right now!
Miroku: (laughing) You know Miss Ikumi will kill you if she catches with a gun one more time
Crow: Don’t call that old bitch Miss she doesn’t deserve it (Crow looks around cautiously for a knife or a frying pan)
AT IKUMI’S HOUSE
Ikumi: (reading some cooking magazines) I think I’m going to punt Crow when he gets home
BACK TO THE KIDS
Miroku: Besides Crow I have been wondering what do you carrying around a gun anyway.
Crow: (sighs again) Don’t start this again Miroku I told you I prefer guns, I the best shot around. And… (Crow thinks for a while) I always been comfortable with a gun in my hand it not that I don’t like swords I just prefer guns, I better with them.
Miroku: But you can’t be a shingami with a gun, what shingami do you know who carry guns as their zanpakuto
Lupin: Actually Miroku, Bāsutofaiā the Super Cannon use guns as a zanpakuto
Hidan: What Lupin Bāsutofaiā didn’t use guns as his zanpakuto, his zanpakuto fire super charged blast of energy!
Lupin: What NOOOO! You are thinking of Hottoshotto and his zanpakuto, Bāsutofaiā zanpakuto turned into cannon!
Hidan: Are you stupid Hottoshotto shot fire balls, Bāsutofaiā zanpakuto hollowed out to fire the energy but I see why you would think that a cannon.
Crow: It doesn’t matter! (sighs) I guess then I’ll make history by being the only shingami with a gun (They all start to laugh even Crow laughs a little but soon they realize they are not the only ones laughing up ahead there are a group of teenage boys all of them are dress in the fanciest clothes any of them have ever seen. As they get closer one of the boys, who has the blondest of blond hair and bluest of blue eyes spots them and whispers to the others who start snickering. This boy is Chadz Wellington III, son of Chadz Wellington II head of one of the richest family around they claimed they own everything from the air the poor breath to the poor themselves. Chadz was the leader of these boys who called themselves the Society of The Wealthy)
Miroku: (grabs Crow shoulder and whispers in his ear) Crow come on let’s go a different way I don’t want any trouble with them
Crow: (shocked by how the usually confident Miroku is acting) Heh what are the odds Miroku we are bothered by the same person, and I am looking for trouble
Miroku: You know those guys as well?
Kuesu: (sticking her head between the two boys) Miroku who are those guys?
Crow: (smiling a mischievous smile) Don’t worry about them little lady, they are nothing but a bunch of losers
Miroku: (seeing Crow smile and knowing what Crow wants to do) Crow don’t…..(before Miroku can protest Chadz lets out a loud snort causing all of the kids to look at him)
Chadz: Look what we have here Wellington (He snickers towards the kid next to him who had brown hair and blue eyes. This boy was Wellington Chad III he was a member of the Chad family a rich political associated family) Its Miroku and his bunch of loser orphans and look who else it Crow the freakish bad omen stay away from him it bad luck (All the boys snickers till Chadz raises a hand to quite them) I guess it no surprise only a loser like Miroku would befriend a freak like Crow (all the boys snicker again)
Kuesu: Leave us alone you bunch of bullies!
Wellington: Aw look Chadz, Miroku has a girlfriend (more snickers till a boy with black hair and black eyes speak, this is Li Hōfunakozō, his uncle owned the shipping yards)
Li: So Miroku does your girlfriend have a name it not nice to not to tell your friends you have girlfriend (As the boys snickers Kuesu blushes and hides her face behind Bardock, Miroku is clearly getting angrier, but Crow is still smiling)
Teenager: Hey Chadz isn’t that Rose with them, what she doing with a bunch of poor orphans
Chadz: Pleeeeease Micheal, Rose’s parents are just barely consider wealthy she probably be better off with these losers (The boys laugh, a hard and obnoxious laugh, as Rose starts to get tears in her eyes. Miroku clenches his fist ready to strike) Come on Miroku we are just pulling your chains, don’t you like jokes. Listen today is your lucky day we are going to teach you kids how to get dog milk
Lupin: But…..but dogs don’t make milk
Chadz: What are you stupid! Of course dogs make milk, it really good better than cow milk we brought a bottle for you kids to try and taste it (He holds up a milk bottle with some white liquidly substance in it, Crow calmly walks over takes the bottle and goes to drink it but just before the bottle touches his lips he chucks over their heads so that the “milk” spills on some of them) WHAT THE HELL!!!
Crow: (his smile slowly going away) Chadz how bout you take your prick friends and all your dirty money and go play on mommy and daddy’s yacht before I decide to kick your ass (all the boys bust out laughing, doubling over, eyes watering the whole nine yards)
Chadz: (finally getting his breath back) OK CROW!!! We don’t want to mess with you, you may give us your bad luck (the boys start to walk away and Crow turns to Miroku and the others but just as he opens his mouth he hears something and spins around only to get Chadz’s boot in stomach, Crow’s body goes limp and his eyes go blank his cowboy hat gets blown away in the wind) Damn punk who the hell does he think he is threatening me (all the other kids stare in shock as Crow falls down seemingly unconscious, Chadz kicks him on the ground for a little bit then kicks him down a the hill)
Miroku: (his face is contorted with rage and shock) CROW!!!!!
Chadz: (now looking at Miroku) Calm down Miroku! I’m sure your buddy isn’t hurt “too bad” besides I want to talk to you
Miroku: (looks down the hill at Crow body) What do you want Chadz?!
Chadz: You better change your tone or you will end up like your friend down there. I wanted to ask you who is that woman who came to see you at that old broken down piece of crap orphanage, she was quite a looker was she your mother cause I would love to show her my “assets” (white hot rage was beginning to build in Miroku) nah she was too hot to be your mother. You want to know what I think, I think your mother was a whore who couldn’t raise a son so she left in a orphanage as she continue to…(Miroku was getting angrier with each word)….sell….her…filthy… peasant….body (Miroku lost control of his anger he charged at Chadz full force but before Miroku could do anything one of the bigger kids, probably a 17 or 18 year old, floored him in one punch. The kids look in shock and horror as their two leaders were taken down so easily) Damn punk needs to learn his place
Big Kid: (laughing) He was a push over Chadz (the kids goes to stomp on Miroku but before he can, a black back pack smashes him in the face breaking his nose causing him to squirm on the ground like a fish out of water. The back pack hits the ground causing a loud crash and creating multiple huge cracks that go out in all directions. All the kids, as well as the teenagers look around to see where the back pack came from, to see Crow smiling dusting him self off)
Crow: Damn Ikumi is going to kill me for taking off the back pack. (looks at Chadz then Miroku) Hey Miroku if you are going to be my rival you can’t be taken down in one hit (Miroku slowly gets up laughing)
Miroku: (smiling at Crow) Whatever Eagle, You went down first that pretty bad
Crow: (a happy but annoyed look on his face) THAT WAS A CHEAP SHOT OF COURSE I WOULD GO DOWN AND IT CROW!!!
Chadz: (furious by what just happen) YOU DIRTY PEASANTS BRATS!!!! (both Miroku and Crow look at him)
Crow: I told you to leave or I will kick your ass, and now I lost my favorite hat so now you are double dead (he moves so quick that Miroku barely sees him, Crow delivers a kick to Wellington knocking out a few teeth) Wow I can’t believe that all that carrying those weights are actually paying off I’m really fast
Chadz: (looks down at Wellington, then at the big kid then at the other teens) Don’t just stare at them you dolts ATTACK!!!!

Some of the teens charge at Crow and Miroku, who were arguing because again Miroku mess with Crow’s name, a couple of the teens ran away afraid of what might happen to them. Bardock and Bulk ran up to join Crow and Miroku as Kuesu, Rose, Hidan, and Lupin ran back out of the soon to be chaos. Crow and Miroku charged the on coming teens; Crow knee one kid in the face then use the same kid as a battering ram to take down another, Miroku smash two kids faces together then use their bodies to leap off of to drop kick another kid.
Crow: Finally I can try my new move (he grabbed a kid hand then headbutted him as hard and fast as possible) HIGH VELOCITY IMPACT HEADBUTT!!!! (blood sprays from the kid’s head as Crow just back away a little dizzy and dazed) All those frying pans to the head must be a good thing (A kid charged at Crow from behind but Bardock picked him up and body slammed him then Bulk jumped on the kids head)
Miroku: Not bad Pigeon!!! (He was busy punching a kid in the face)
Chadz: (terrified that his cronies are being taken down by a couple of kids) YOU TWO ARE FREAKS!!!!! (runs away picking up a couple of his groaning and moaning friends) WAIT TILL MY FATHER HEARS ABOUT THIS!!!!
Crow: (smiling and laughing) WHY SO WE CAN KICK HIS ASS AS WELL!! (Miruko and Crow laugh as the others join them and soon they are all laughing)
Miroku: Wow bird-brain you were pretty good! (Pats Crow on the shoulder)
Crow: (laughing) Pretty good I beat up more people then you dumb-ass!
Miroku: (laughing) Yeah right I beat up more people then you!
Kuesu: I beat up more people then both of you (blushes and soon the all are laughing again, except Crow suddenly stops as he is looking in the direction of the bay)
Miroku: (looking concern at Crow) What wrong Crow?
Crow: (grabbing the back pack a worried look on his face as he speeds off) I…g..got…to go!
Miroku: (gets up to try and stop him but Crow pushes him out of the way) What wrong?!
Crow: (already down the hill and running faster) THAT MY UNCLE’S SHIP!!!!
Miroku not understanding what Crow means looks in the direction that he was just staring in at the bay, the actually is ship in the bay the ship looks like a colorful pirate ship expect it is severely damaged and suddenly Miroku know why Crow was running back to his house)

Who is Crow’s uncle, what does this mean that the ship is destroyed, why is it destroyed, will Chadz get his revenge, why am I asking so many questions? Find out next time!

In Soul Society near the 1st squad barracks

Satoshi: And then everybody started laughing and mil sprayed out of her nose getting all over Principal Ayano, she wasn’t happy about that.

Rozu: Ha-ha I bet she wouldn’t be.

Satoshi stops and stares deeply into Rozu’s eyes for a moment then Dawn and Akihiko come running out of the barracks.

Dawn: I’m gunna tell Amiro before you do (Dawn then pulls an eye lid down with a finger and sticks her tongue out)

Akihiko: Like hell you will…Ahhhh (Akihiko runs and crashes into Rozu knocking her over on to her butt) I’m so sorr… (Now Akihiko realizes that Rozu is barley wearing anything and the shirt she was using to cover her self nearly completely fell off)

Rozu: (Shyly looking away as she pulls the shirt borrowed from Satoshi back over her self) don’t…..worry about it….

Satoshi: What’s the hurry there Akihiko?

Akihiko: I gotta get to that bastard Amiro and tell him about the execution and war coming up.

Satoshi: What execution and war?

Akihiko: The war with the Miroku and his army for killing Asoka.

Satoshi: (Clenching his fist tightly) Get the news to your captain, Rozu my room is just in that building to the left, Wait for me there, I gotta talk to someone (Satoshi glares over towards Isao’s office.

Rozu: O..K, Please don’t be long

Satoshi: I wont ( He then vanishes and reappears outside Isao’s door. Pushing it open slowly and seeing that Isao is sitting behind a mound of paper work rushing through it to get things set up for possible battles)

Isao: Good, I need your help, we got a war coming and you’re behind on your work.

Satoshi: We need to talk…

Rey: (talking to a random arrancar) you’re telling me that the soul society is about to have a war on its door steps, that’s GREAT!!!!! (Rey goes to pat the arrancar on the back but without realizing his own strength knock her through a wall) Fix that hole you just made wench. (Rey send out a signal with his spirit energy summoning all the current espada to him)

Reaper: What the hell do you want old man?

Rey: You’re lucky I am in a good mood else I'd rip that tongue of yours out of your head Reaper. That aside, I am going on a trip, I expect when I come back to not see even a grain of sand out of place, If I am disappointed when I return ill make each and every one of you suffer. Dormirarbol and Boido are in charge incase any unexpected event occurs, I have a feeling that there are some insects scurrying around here somewhere so while I'm gone Reaper, see if you can find anything, Gekido will accompany me, and Majiyo can do what ever you feel like short of putting that ass of yours in my throne.

Gekido: You bastard, I don’t want to go with an old shit like you.

Rey: Tough, your coming (Rey grabs Gekido by the throat and vanishes)

In Heuco Mundo

The Ace of X band is trudging through some winds and sand, nothing that will make them stop but nothing fun to walk through. Anybody with decent ears can hear the whole group bickering back and forward about anything ranging from who is gunna make dinner when they get home too who let out the most recent fart. Josh is in the back of the group with Leigh-Ann making small jokes only to her about everyone else getting a little giggle here and there. Crow was in the front trying to calm the group but at same time smiling to him self about the fun they were having.

Josh: Shit (Yelling) Bird brain hold up, something got Leigh-Ann (Josh drew two of his Seele Schneiders and running off to the group looking up) Crow looks up and sees what looks like a Pterodactyl flying away with something kicking about a hundred or so feet up and 300 feet away from the group and moving fast.

Crow pulls out a pistol but then Toni waved his hand down.

Toni: You might hit Leigh-Ann

Josh: (Yelling as loud as he can) I got it!!! (The whole group is surprised that he is already directly underneath the hallow and keeping up with it. Josh then jumps straight up like a bolt of lightning flying towards the hallow and Leigh-Ann. In the blink of an eye the hallow falls down to one side crashing into the ground, and on the other side Josh lands softly holding Leigh-Ann in his arm and one of the legs and the left wing of the hallow crashing in between them and the hallow.) You bastard. (Leigh-Ann was unconscious and Josh vanishes and re appears to place Leigh-Ann down carefully a distance away from the hallow. Josh then takes and activates one of his ear ring Quincy crosses and makes it into a bow. Then vanishes again appearing above the hallow holding 5 Seele Schneiders in his hand drawn back and ready to fire. He releases them setting up the pentagon for his Sprenger. Then he starts vanishing and re appearing at ground level all around the hallow firing a wave of arrows and finally appears above the hallow releasing all the arrows he can at the moment his Sprenger ability detonates Causing a huge explosion as thousands of arrows and Sprenger collide. Josh appears next to Leigh-Ann at the same time Crow and the group run up to her.)

Crow: That seemed a little excessive

Josh: He got what he deserved…let’s be off (Josh leans down and picks up Leigh-Ann and begins walking)

Okay everyone, serious message here! We need to fill the rest of the captains seats. the Squads left are 4,5,6,10 and 12. Whiteflame is currently working on 4. I'm taking care of 5. That means we need 3 others to help. Thanks for your cooperation.

i guess ill take 6, and tetsu, i fergot bout that, so well say that that little part there took place directly befor your fight some how, making it possible for him to be there for meeting then directly after he goes for fight, or what ever some how makes it work out
