I read that the two scenes they used to audition Finnick were the sugar cube scene, and the scene where he hears the mockingjay imitate Annie. This makes me feel a little better about their choice. Obviously the sugar cube scene stood out to alot of people, and I am obsessed with his relationship with Annie, so to me those things are important. I love this movie, but if there is anything I have a problem with, it is the way they created the dog mutts. It made it feel like science fiction, and this story is very much supposed to be in the real world. I bought my dvd and after watching it I had 3 main thoughts. 1. I love how when Prim is reaped she is actually being very brave, but then she starts freaking out when Katniss takes her place. These sisters really love eachother. :) 2. It was so sad when Rue died. Watching this ray of light come onto the screen, and knowing that is the moment she dies is so heartbreaking. 3. The hunger games is my life. I cannot explain how much it has changed me. I joined this fanclub because i am alone. I would really really love it if Suzanne Collins wrote more about Annie and Finnick.
