I just saw it a second time. still amazing! I can't get over the important parts they just blew off though. I cried when that little boy with the curly hair got killed by cato at the beginning in the games. That just made me very emotional somehow. elizabeth banks was PERFECT as effie! i loved it when katniss almost stabbed haymitch in the hand, and she goes "Thats mahogony!" lol that was funny:) and it was really funny when Haymitch turned to Effie and said "You need to calm down... loosen you corset or have a drink" and she just glared at him:) she was always saying "Manners!" lol, it was a really good movie now that i thought about it:) Just some of the little important parts were missed though Posted over a year ago

I watched the movie and it was good i din't love it but it was good even though alot of my favorite parts weren't in there i know they can't please everyone but still(spoiler alert)peetas leg wasn't amputated and when it first starts gale scares of game for katniss and gale wouldn't do that. The movie also felt a little rushed at some points but i love the actors they were amazing but at least they tried to stick to the book something is better than nothing but the movie was a 7 out of 10 for me Posted over a year ago

I'll admit that I wasn't very confident when I got to the theater. I expected the movie to change everything from the book and make it awkward.... but that movie was PHENOMENAL. Literally, one of the BEST movies I have ever seen. Sure, they shortened a few scenes and removed some... but it was so CLOSE to the book (some parts even taken straight from the book) and it was PERFECT. <3 I would've liked more cave scenes but what was there was AMAZING. Well damn, the move was purrrfect. It's crazy how very closely they followed the book, and I loved how they didn't try to cover all the violence and bloodbath, which was as intensely filmed as it was written. Rue's death shattered my petty little heart into a million pieces, which was expected but I still cried a river. They didn't overplay the love triangle, which made me an extremely happy fan. Seneca Crane is sexy. Peeta's camouflage was AMAZING. Cato broke my heart with his bloody speech. Posted over a year ago

To be honest, i dont know why everyone is raving about how great it was.. i was dissappointed. the first part was okay, but the last half felt rushed and they left out crucial parts that were key emotional times in the story. And god the ending! it wasn't right. also, they made peeta look like a weiredo. everything he said i was like "wtf..".
