yes that's true i'm on Catching Fire and it is so amazing, as is The Hunger Games: Actually, I"m writing a persuasive essay on making a Hunger Games fan club right now for schoolover a year ago
Hiihii had anyone the same problem??
I've not seen such a strange reaction since twilight!! really fans are CRAZY!!!:D
I was watching the film in the cinema and girls were shouting all the time " Peeta your hot" "Uhuhu Galeee I love yoou!"
And all these "OOOHS" and when people applauded......
I have to tell that I did some of these things too but COME ON!!
I didn't understand half of the things of the film because the room was sooooo loud:'( xx.

Honestly have to tell that the movie was AMAZING!
I just watched it yesterday night for the first time ( I know it's STRANGE but in spain it came yesterday:( )
Jen was incredible, no one could have done a better katniss than her.
Josh and Liam were good, Haymitch was crazy haha and rue was soooo cute!! but the time katniss and rue spent together was so little!!
that was sooo sad:/
haha but I nearly forgot Alex as cato was veryyygood, love him xx.

Im reading all books over again. One reason why cause in the movie Prim gives Katness the pin but in the book Madge gives it to her.i wonder why they dident make Madges character?
Posted over a year ago
Probably because she isn't actually in the books that much, in books you can add as many characters as you want and it doesn't matter so much how big a role they have. Movies, however don't have that luxury. There will be people who see the movie, who have not read the books and to them Madge would just be a random character who you barely ever see again. Plus by having Prim give Katniss the Mockingjay, really shows that sisterly bond between them.over a year ago
I love the movie. It was amazing and corresponds with the book rather well :). There was one thing I was sad they didn't put in: Haymitch leaping oh so heroically off the stage XD. Anyone else agree? :D

i watched the movie a few weeks ago, but i just started reading the books and i gotta say, i can't get my eyes off it. it's just so well written, it grabs you and never lets you go. suzanne collins is such a wonderful author.

Yes I do because I didn't explain ANY THING I mean like none and if I didn't read the books I would have been so canfused and now I know why some people in my class didn't like the movie because most of them didn't read the books!over a year ago
I'm going to have to politely disagree. Yes, they left out a few parts, but overall I don't think that it affected the story line or the feel of the movie. It's unrealistic to hope that they could include EVERYTHING, unless it's going to be like a 3 hour movie. Of course the books will always be better, however I think they did a wonderful job on the movie.over a year ago
OMG!!! I read all the books then saw the movie. The movie is almost exactly like the book!!!! At first I was team Gale, but as I read the books, I changed my mind. for those of you who havn't read the books, im jst gonna say he has done things to make me change my mind. happy hunger games!!!!!!! and may the odds be ever in your favor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I just saw THG again and of course it was amazing... But omfg, I was SO upset. There were these really obnoxious people in the theater. They kept talking and waving their cell phone so the light was all over the screen. And.... THEY LAUGHED DURING RUE'S DEATH!! Of course that didn't ruin THG for me, but that was just so annoying.
At least now I have a reason to go see it again... :)

The best book in the trilogy is the first one...in my opinion, anyway.
The second book, 'Catching Fire', is okay, but I personally found that it didn't live up to the expectations set by the first book.
The third and final book, 'Mockingjay', is my second favourite. I'll never love it as much as I love the first book...but I do love it. Mostly because Peeta is evil for the majority of it. I also like the, "If we burn, you burn with us", line. Genius.

Was finally able to get my Dad to come see the Hunger Games with me, he was determined that he wouldn't like it. After we get out he says; "That was actually better then I thought it would be."
I feel triumphant. :D

Josh was on Jay Leno and he referred to Gary as being the director in past tense and when he said that his face was in utter disappointment. And just today he said he couldnt imagine another director. SO SAD!!

It's official, Gary Ross is not returning to film Catching Fire. I'm extremely disappointed, but I'm also willing to give whoever Lionsgate chooses a chance.

Yeah, I know. I'm mad about this. If they'll choose some bad director I'm going to be so pissed off. I hope they will choose someone really good. I'm really sad about Gary leaving.over a year ago

Ive not seen the hunger games or read any of the books.I joined this cos i was hopeing to get it.But i got the book today the first one.I havent started readin it but i read the back and then i was like :/.Cos it seemed boring. Is the hunger games book boring? Should i see the movies first then?I got the book 2 day at tescos. It was £3.86 :o.Not that it matters though. But should i read the books first or see the movies first then read it?

The first couple chapters are a little dull, but overall the books are not boring at all, and I would NOT suggest seeing the movies first, because the books are so much better.over a year ago
yes! keep reading, the beginning is quite dull but later, you can't put it down! Especially when you get to the games! I pretty much forced my friends to read the books, one of mine took like 2 months but once they got into it, they wouldnt put it down, i was dorky enough to carry it around EVERYWHERE with me:) Keep reading, i know its tough but you will thank me:) and then see the movie once your finished:) hope that helps:)over a year ago
NO! DON'T WATCH THE MOVIE! You've got to read the book before you watch the movie. The book explains a lot of things that you wouldn't get if you just watched the movie. you wouldn't know the Avox girl, and why they even had the Hunger Games. The first chapter is a bit boring, but it gets better and then it gets totally addicting. Plus, the book is better than the movie.over a year ago
