When I watched "Badger Pride" on Saturday, I was so happy that Kowalski mentioned the fact that badgers and otters are part of the same scientific family called "Mustelidae." I had commented here on Fanpop about that before the episode aired, so it was like hearing my own words when I saw it on TV. Best moment ever today! I was talking to my friend Christina about what we should do for our graduation cakes (it was her birthday and she'd just spent three hours working on her cake, it was awesome) and she said that, since we are planning on having a joint-grad party, my half of the cake should be a 3-D version of the four penguins. Friday on Animal Planet, I watched an episode of "River Monsters" which focused around the real-life snakehead fish. Though these fish are far smaller than the one the penguins fought, some of the 30 species can get up to four feet long. And they attack with viciousness and ferocity; some people even label them "worse than piranhas." I'd recommend this "Killer Snakehead" episode to anyone interested in wanting to learn more about the species -- it made for an exciting hour. Posted over a year ago
