I went to see a movie today, and before it started, Skipper came on and told us not to use our cell phones! He had an eject remote and ejected everyone in the theater (which was the Madagascar cast and a bunch of chimps) for using their cell phones.

Eventually, Mort was the only one left in the theater. He raised his hand to ask a question, to which Skipper said "No questions!" and ejected him. Then King Julien reminded everyone to go see his movie in June. ^_^ Posted over a year ago

Yesturday my band went to State Festival competition, and when we were in the sight-reading room, I heard some of the clarinets behind me talking about the penguins. They started saying "Just smile and wave.." and I almost lost it. XD Posted over a year ago

Two further "Action Reaction" observations:

* Julien makes a joke that Skipper "didn't get the memo about crazy pants Tuesdays." Although there never was such a memo, the Shirtless Ninja-a-Day calendar on Skipper's desk indicated that the day of the week was actually Monday.

* When Private danced around Skipper with his Lunacorn, I noticed that much of it was done en pointe (on the tips of the toes). I remembered the term from research I did while working on La Mademoiselle. Posted over a year ago

Ya won' t believe this !!! I was in my room, and the television was on nick, and it started showing the penguins and Julien like came to where they were stading and said : Say x !!! ( I think that is not to All the world and it means smile ) and they said x and then it was Skipper on the photo and he smiled and they everybody said x togheter... I've located the description of the upcoming "High Moltage" episode on zap2it.com: "Private starts molting on opening day of his favorite action star's movie."

It sounds like it will be a fun episode. If any of our artists are interested, it would be interesting to see some fan art of Private molting before the episode comes out, that way it could be compared to how he will actually look in the episode. There was a moment in "Thumb Drive" when Maurice agreed to going on the weapons lab raid by saying, "Big thumbs up!" while holding up his two thumbs. I saw this as a clear allusion to the old Siskel and Ebert "Two thumbs up" catchphrase, so I wondered why Maurice didn't just say it instead. I notice that there's been a rise in drama on Chatzy. I just thought of a solution.

I created another Chatzy room where drama IS allowed, if you feel you need to let any drama out or communicate any social issues (such as cyberbullying). The rules are more lax; the only rule is that everyone should be treated with at least some respect. That means NO CYBERBULLYING.

If you prefer to have more privacy, you can also create a "Quick Chat" (to the left on Chatzy) and invite whomever you want. Posted over a year ago

I notice a problem on Chatzy. There seems to be more drama on Chatzy in the past two days. I'm not sure if this is bothering anyone else.

From the episode Action Reaction, when Skipper came to rescue the other penguins from Hans, he said "Let my penguins go," which, in case you don't know, is an allusion to Moses saying "Let my people go."

Has anyone but me noticed how Skipper always figures out a way to use his ailments to his advantage?

For Example: In Rock a bye bird After being turned into an infant, he managed to use his small but speedy body and baby gas to defeat the Rat King and his minions. And in Action Reaction he used his inflated body to beat up Hans and ward off all his weapon's blasts. But Julien still serendipitously defeated Hans much to Skipper's chagrin but I guess this still counts.

* I think I have to file this episode among the stranger of the series. Or ask Skipper at his desk to file it for me. It was funny, but my favorites are the episodes that are a bit more believable (believable?).

* Where did Hans come from? I realize that most people who watch just focus on the main situation, but yet another Hoboken-banned character returns to the zoo without explanation.

I thought that Action Reaction was one of the most funniest episodes I've ever seen! XD I literally lol'd at many points.

Especially the part where Skipper deflates and Private's all like,
Private:"Oh. Uh... was that rude noise the sound of you deflating or..."

And the part where Skipper falls on top of Roy puffs up and rolls off of Roy and bounces away. XD

Based on the description Nickelodeon's website had up earlier for the "Private and the Winky Factory" episode that didn't air, I can't help but wonder if it might be a special. I noticed something in King Me. When Skipper asks Maurice to explain, he takes out a clipboard. FROM BEHIND KOWALSKI. Right out of thin air. Kowalski is slightly surprised by it, but the expression is gone within a second. The writers are obviously making fun of the fact that Kowalski is always pulling his clipboard out of the air. Thoughts on "King Me":

* It was nothing like I had expected. I thought only Julien and Rico would be switching. I never would have guessed Clemson would be a part, and I wish how he got there had been explained.

* If Julien wasn't born in Madagascar, where was he born? Hawaii? (No, I'm not a Birther. I just couldn't resist the joke.) Could he have been born at a zoo and then released into the wild?

* What Clemson knitted reminded me of that "Autumn in New York" photo (link below). Posted over a year ago

Thoughts on "Feline Fervor":

* It was fun to watch Julien try to woo Zoe and her total lack of interest in him. But I think Julien will soon forget about her like he did Marlene, "Arlene," and his fake Canadian girlfriends and move on to the next female he finds attractive. Perhaps he'll have better luck with the bear in Madagascar 3?

* Though she thinks Julien and Zoe are cats, Gladys can apparently see well, as she was able to look in Dr. Cuddles' Home Veterinary Handbook. Posted over a year ago
