So I finally figured out why Romancing Alistair always seemed so weird to me. Alistair is basically what my brother would look like if he was a character in Dragon Age. Same hair cut and color, same skin tone, both buff (my brother more so since lifting is what he does for fun), similar facial features. The only difference is Alistair keeps a little bit of scruff on his face. My brother needs to cosplay as Alistair with me now to make up for traumatically ruining that characters romance plot.
