Here is the message I sent to Mattel and Barbie: "Hello. Barbie movie fans have noticed that Kelly Sheridan is not the voice of Barbie in the upcoming movies, and some are upset about the recasting. We would like to know why the role has been recast. Is it that the movies are going in a new direction? Rebranding? Please let me know. Other fans have tried to contact you about this topic, but have been ignored." over a year ago

The first one since 2010 was Kristyn. Before that, there were plenty who weren't princesses. over a year ago

Well Elina, Mariposa, Eden, Corinne, Kristyn aren't princesses too. So this is not the first time Barbie playing a non-princess role. over a year ago

Well Barbie wasn't a princess in the Fairytopia trilogy,Barbie Diaries,Christmas Carol,Mariposa,The 3 Musketeers,Fashion Fairytale,Fairy Secret,Perfect Christmas,Pink Shoes,Pony Tale and recently Puppy Adventure.Barbie also played characters who were not born into royalty but become princesses later on like Clara(but she is only a princess in the land of Parthenia though),Odette(by marrying Prince Daniel) and Liana(she and Alexa gained the"Princess of Music"title after defeating Lydia) over a year ago
