i love the show i personally want another season maybe not with chad and hilarie, but the show is really good and the new cast are really good. im loving it. you cant say it sucks cause it really doesnt suck over a year ago

No... with all due respect... it sucks lol. To me, anyway. And it has nothing to do with just the simple changes, such as the new characters. We're not basing our opinion on dumb, little things like that. It has to do with the BIGGER, more substantial changes. Such as the quality of the writing (or lack there of). The show used to have meaning, and purpose. It used to relay a message with every episode. The conversations, and interractions between the characters actually used to be deep, and mean something. And all of those qualities are gone now. Now it's nothing but a bunch of empty, repetitive, pointless storylines.. one lame unfunny joke after another.. sex scenes and references every 10 minutes.. never-ending love triangles between newbies that nobody cares about.. and cheesy conversations that don't serve any damn purpose. over a year ago

...And I don't say all this simply because I "cannot stand change". I'm all for change. Hell, season 5 was a big change, and I loved that season. Because it was still good. It was still written well, storylines were new, necessary, and important... and the writing was still good. But it's reached the point where the show is changing in a NEGATIVE way. So naturally, many people aren't happy with it, and want it to end! :) over a year ago

The thing is..... This show is pathetic I won't another couple episodes with Chad & Hilarie just that is a far chance getting a WHOLE season is very unlikely. The show isn't the same anymore it lost what it was when Leyton left in my opinion. I miss the heart of the show. It kinda just goes on now because people are so afraid to let it go. I would love for Season 8 to be the last season and for Leyton to come back at the end and it to be a even more epic ending then Daweson's Creek was. Huge fans want the show to end because it is depressing us seeing it struggle with storylines and plots. It's recycling and its sad. It needs to end. Its more of a happy thing than a sad thing we want the best for OTH and that is for it to finally let go. over a year ago
