​On New Year\'s Day normal-22-year-old Zayn Malik tweeted that 2016 would actually be Z016, and he might have actually been onto something. Why? \'Cos he\'s already leading Billboard\'s poll to crown the biggest music star of twennnnnny sixteen. Hoorah.

Almost a year after he left One Direction (HOW HAS THAT EVEN HAPPENED?), solo el Maliko\'s currently sitting pretty at the top of Billboard\'s poll which probably means he\'s on track to do pretty bloody well over the next twelve months.

What ever happened to that \'Befour\' track that got teased in the FADER vid, btw? We\'d like that approximately now, please.

The big music mag\'s been asking readers to vote for who they reckon\'s gonna own 2016; and Zayn\'s leading the whole damn thing with 38 per cent of the vote so far. Just behind him is Lady Gaga (INTERESTING) with 18 per cent of the vote, in case you\'re interested. Justin Bieber\'s currently third and Beyoncé and Adele are fourth and fifth respectively.

He\'s probably gonna win the whole thing though, isn\'t he? LBR. We\'re popping a party popper in celebration anyways.
