It was called X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer Image Reveals Cerebro | Collider
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
, and with that premiere date inching ever closer, director Bryan Singer is hard at work in the editing bay, putting the finishing touches on the trailer. Thanks to Singer’s active social media presence, we’ve got a sneak peak image at the first teaser featuring James McAvoy‘s Professor X in the latest incarnation of his signature psychic gear, the Cerebro helmet. If there’s going to be a teaser image for the teaser trailer, at least it’s something cool.
Along with McAvoy, returning team members include Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, and Lucas Till as Havok. The newest additions to the mutant menagerie include Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, and Lana Condor as Jubilee, and Oscar Isaac as the film’s title antagonist, the ancient and invincible Apocalypse.

Back in September, producer Simon Kinberg told us that
will serve as the culmination of a trilogy for the core set of characters introduced in
while initiating a new bunch of young mutants at the same time. More recently, we learned that the film will see Quicksilver on the search for his father and will feature an even bigger, better speedster sequence that took the crew 22 days to shoot. Singer and the studio have taken an interesting anti-mystery box approach to promoting the film, and have been in some ways, staggeringly open considering
doesn’t hit theaters until May 26th, 2016. It’s a refreshing change from the secrecy and endless tantalization of the Marvel studios model, but only time will tell if it leads to a total burnout before the film actually lands.
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
