Movie heroes can be kinda bland. Sure, they\'re good guys with morals and healthy relationships and blah blah blah

. Sometimes the bad guys are way more interesting. Here are some villains who might actually be pretty cool friends.

Christian Slater\'s Jason Dean is the coolest bad boy in school — he\'s super hot, doesn\'t care what anybody thinks about him, and knows how to make a girl feel special. Oh yeah and he\'s a deranged murderer. But that hair! That attitude! That sense of adventure! Totes worth it.

Sure, Loki doesn\'t care about the lives of innocent people, and that\'s not a great quality. But nobody\'s perfect! He\'s also feisty, mischievous, funny, handsome, and damaged. He definitely takes at least 45 minutes to get ready in the morning with that complicated outfit and slicked-back hair, but he looks so cool that we can forgive him some primping time. Slick that hair, gurl. We\'ll wait.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe are kind of brother and sister, kind of lovers, and 

 selfish, wicked people. Reese Witherspoon is the good girl who comes between them but WHO CARES because brunette Sarah Michelle Gellar has a fantastic wardrobe and killer one-liners and that\'s all that really matters.

Yes, Mugatu is insane, wants to murder the Malaysian Prime Minister, and can\'t handle a foamy latte. But you have to respect a man who will kill in the name of fashion and has the funniest lines in the entire movie. Basically, what we\'re learning is that as long as you\'re funny and you look good, you can be evil all day long.

Everyone wanted to be friends with the Terminator so badly that they made him the good guy in T2. He looks awesome in a leather jacket and can murder all your enemies so yeah, pretty good dude/ cyborg to buddy up with.

She avenges her parents\' murders, becomes the head of the Yakuza, gets a slow-mo entrance with awesome music, and decapitates a dude with a sword. O-Ren Ishii is terrifying and so, so cool. I\'d want to hang out with her and never, ever make her mad.

7) Jesse James - The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Jesse James isn\'t really the antagonist of this movie, which only goes to show how cool he is. The dude is a straight-up train robber who has murdered 17 people, but he\'s so awesome that Casey Affleck kills him because all he ever really wanted was his love and appreciation. After he\'s dead, people come see his dead body because that\'s how badly everyone wants to be friends with Jesse James.

8) Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega - Pulp Fiction

Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta seem like a lot of fun to hang out, chat, and eat cheeseburgers with (When they\'re not tasked with killing you, of course).

Tyler Durden will ruin your life, but first he\'ll make it exciting.

Everyone wants to be friends with Regina George so badly they become monsters in lip gloss to do it. She\'s beautiful, intensely blonde, and when she talks to you it feels like Jesus flew down and kissed you right on the mouth. She\'s mean, she\'s fabulous, she\'s Regina George.

Magneto is the Malcolm X of mutants. He accepts that some people need to die so he can protect his people from oppression and extinction and that\'s gonna net him devoted friends, lots of enemies, and even some frenemies. Add in his awesome powers, cool cape, and gnarly helmet and this is one guy you definitely want on your side.

So, I know this guy. He\'s suave, quick with a smile and a joke, and speaks at least four languages fluently. He\'s witty, smart, oddly handsome, enthusiastic, and quirky. Sounds like a great guy, right? Want me to set up coffee for you two? You\'ll have a great time. Oh wait a second though, there is one more thing ... he\'s a Nazi. Spoiler alert, he helps kill Hitler though, so that\'s pretty cool. But let\'s be real, Landa will always be a super-cool murderous sociopath.

Nobody is cooler or badder than Vader. He used to be a hottie, then he got really sad and evil, and he\'s all damaged and messed up — just the way the ladies like it. All he wanted to do is conquer death! Is that so wrong?! Plus, nobody but Vader could make a giant helmet/ life-saving breathing apparatus look so bad ass. He\'s my four-year-old brother\'s favorite character, though he only knows him as "that black guy in Star Wars."
