I remember visiting this website once...
It was called 10 Best Movie Moments Of 2014 (So Far)
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Believe it or not, we’re almost half-way through 2014, and though it’s a golden rule that the first half of the year always gets off to a slow start ahead of awards season, we’ve been lucky enough to be blessed with a surprisingly high number of strong blockbuster movies this year.
While not every scene on this list comes from a great movie or even a particularly good one, these 10 scenes, be they dramatic deaths from comic book movies, light moments of comic relief in visceral action flicks or just flat-out, bada** fights, took our breath away like nothing else we’ve seen this year.
We’ve got it all: we’ve had one of the sexiest moments in recent cinema history, wish-fulfilling fight scenes ripped straight from their source material, and some of the gnarliest breath-related attacking you’ll probably ever see on-screen. With 7 months to go, it’s likely this list will change substantially by the end of the year, but for now, these are the movie scenes that have stuck in our minds, by way of their stylistic excellence, emotion, hilarity and straight-up sexiness.
Did we miss any of your favourite scenes from a movie released this year? Let us know in the comments!
Also be warned that SPOILERS WILL FOLLOW for some of the year’s biggest movies. Edge of Tomorrow is included in our list (which isn’t out in the US until tomorrow), but the spoiler is incredibly minor and considering how many times Tom Cruise dies in the movie, it’s not really a spoiler at all (though it certainly is a great moment)!

Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus\' wishes). General video game, TV and film nut. Occasional sports fan. Full time loon.
GODZILLA should be no.1 and quicksilver tied with it
I was going to say, I haven’t seen a couple of these but those 2 were clearly at the top of mine and everyone else’s I’ve spoken to.
Any fight sequence from the Raid 2 could have been no1, the action is incredible, particularly the fight sequences with Hammer Girl.
Did Gwen hit her head or did he snap her neck with his webbing?
It was confirmed that in the comics, he snapped her neck with the webbing, but I think people still debate this.
I think he also snapped her neck in the movie, but again it is shown as debatable. One thing is for sure, that sound when her head hit the floor was a lot to take in.
For how good the Quicksilver scene was I still cant stand the look.
I thought The Amazing Spider-Man 2 scene should have been at least in the 6th or 5th place. I actually didn’t like 300: Rise of an Empire all that much. I did enjoy Eva Green though.
