~Story and Characters~
In 1865, a biological organization known as Chimera was known for their revolutionary breakthroughs in medicine and science. However, during one part of their research, Chimera had found a small town known as Widow Maker, known for its diseases plaguing the town. Chimera, in an attempt to help the town, used every medical practice they had to help the people in the town. However, during their research, one scientist by the name of Gregory Felwood, had created a virus that was knows as “Anti-Cell”. The Anti-Cell would infect the host's body, mutating every cell inside of them. Within an hour, all of the cells would become Anti-Cells, and the body would be taken over by the parasitic virus, rendering the once normal human into a zombified host for the virus. The most horrifying part was that the virus was able to use the host's body in a way to manipulate and transform the body at will, turning it into many grotesque and deformed creatures with an intent to kill and eat flesh. The virus had spread due to testing, as contact with the skin with the creature's saliva or blood would allow the virus to enter the body. Within a matter of two days, all of Widow Maker was turned into a place run by the virus, and was left by itself in the deep forest, where no one entered, and where the virus would be unable to spread due to it’s habitat being far from civilization. In 1946, Benedict Jacobs travelled to the location, as his brother, Maxwell Jacobs, along with his wife, Elizabeth Clover, and Benedict’s friend, Ricardo Norton, gone over to explore the forest area, as part of research. After not hearing from them, Benedict had decided to head to Widow Maker, in order find out what had happened to them, and to discover the events that had taken place at Widow Maker.
