Now, after buying the new Super Smash Bros game for 3DS and Wii U, I can say that THIS GAME IS FUCKING FANTASTIC. So, after that game, I thought what the roster would be for the next Smash Bros game. So, I decided to make a list of the character I want to see in the next Smash Bros. First, some rules. They either have to be Nintendo games, or companies that Nintendo has worked with at one point, being Sega, Namco, Capcom, and Konami. Also, I am not including characters that are already in the games, or character that have been in the series at one point. Sorry Roy and Dr. Mario. Now, with all that out of the way, lets start the list
#15: Waluigi from Super Mario Bros - Best to get the worst possible choice for everyone out of the way. Now, how many people, other than me, have been wanting to see Waluigi in the next Smash Bros game… exactly, no one. Mainly because Waluigi isn’t that big of a character in the Mario series. All he does is race karts, play tennis and golf, and join parties. That’s about it. However, he does have a lot of potential to be a pretty good character. Some ideas that could be used are that he could use his tennis racquet and golf club to attack enemies. And for a final smash, he could use his kart to attack enemies. Sure, not the most popular of choices, but lets remember the fact that Nintendo thought it was a good idea to make Agitha a character in Hyrule Warriors
#14: Biker from Excitebike - Oh, yeah. Now were going back to the past. And, this game really didn’t suck ass…. anyway, this guy seems to have died out back in the days of the N64. Why, I don’t know, but still. I really think Nintendo should bring this guy back. Sure, there are limited things you can do on a motorcycle, but, we’re talking about Nintendo here. I’m sure they’ll think of some crazy shit for him to do. In a mean time, I’m just hoping they bring him back to be a part of this game
#13: Boy from Balloon Fight - You remember that really addicting game for the NES called Balloon Fight that later got a Wii release…. no…. you don’t…. well fuck you too. Anyway, I feel that this is another character Nintendo needs to bring back. Sure, the Boy may be just as limited to things to do like the Biker, but I just want him to come back for the sake of remember old games. I mean, they did it with Duck Hunt Dog, and NOBODY FUCKING LIKED HIM, so why not bring back the Boy
#12: Simon Belmont from Castlevania - Now we are moving out of Nintendo territory. Simon Belmont just screams “Put me in this game. I’m a platforming character. I can do some good”. I think his fight moves would be his trusty whip, along with crosses, holy water, and axes. And a final smash would probably be something.. cool… Hey, what do you expect, I only played the first four Castlevania games. Give me a fucking break.
#11: Dig Dug Guy from Dig Dug - Oh man, this game was always addicting when I played it at the arca- Okay, so, I never grew up in that time. I only had it as one of the games on my Namco Museum cartridge for the Gameboy Advanced. Still, Dig Dug was addicting as hell. So, Dig Dug Guy being in Smash Bros… I don’t see anything wrong with that. Of course, if they bring him in, he’ll have to be using his pump, and he could also dig underground and attack enemies from below, as well as crush enemies with rocks. And if Nintendo could also add the enemies to help fight, that would be real great. I just hope that Nintendo starts looking at the 8-bit genre of the gaming library some more in the future
#10: Jack from Madworld - Wait, wait, wait. I know what you’re thinking. “Wind, why are you adding a character from a violent video game on this list. Isn’t Nintendo family friendly”. Well, Metal Gear Solid was violent, but that didn’t stop Nintendo from putting Snake in Brawl. Now, Jack would probably make it in this game, due to being a Sega game, and since Madworld was a Wii exclusive. His attacks would consist of his chainsaw arm, two swords, a golf club, a spear, and a caution sign. And for a final smash, it would probably launching his enemies into a giant dartboard with a baseball bat… you gotta play the games to know what I mean. Also, if Jack does somehow make it into Smash Bros, I REALLY hope Howard “Buckshot” Holmes and Kreese Kreeley give him advice like Otacon from Brawl or Lady Palatina in SSB4
#9: King K Rool from Donkey Kong Country - Man, where did this guy go. He hasn’t been in one Donkey Kong game since Donkey Kong 64, and that’s more than ten years old. But, I would love it if this guy made a comeback in Smash Bros. His attacks would probably consist of throwing his crown, shooting bombs, firing at them with a blunderbuss, and a final smash would be his large cannon destroying everyone on screen. Sure, he may not be a popular choice, but I think he should come back
#8: Ryu from Street Fighter - Now, I am pretty sure he will make in the next game. I mean, Nintendo treats Capcom’s games better than Capcom themselves. Anyway, Ryu would be a perfect choice. He would use his usual martial arts skills to fight enemies, and as for a final smash… Is it really that hard to predict… a Hadoken, of course. Any Street Fighter fan would know that a Hadoken would be Ryu’s final smash
#7: Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 - Yeah… I said it. Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 should be in Smash Bros. Now, what has Raiden done to deserve to be in Smash Bros? Well, he is a strong and brave person who goes into battle, ready for anything, he is able to take on the most dangerous of challenges, and, unlike Snake, he has a FUCKING KATANA BLADE! Seriously, how is that not going to get noticed? It’s a fucking katana blade. Also, he can do cartwheels and some shit. I don’t know. FUCKNG KATANA BLADE!
#6: Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog - Now, Sonic has already made it into this game, so, who would be the next choice. Well, why not Sonic’s sidekick. Now, Tails may not do a lot, but, I’m sure his attacks would consist of using a walker to attack and he can also fly above the screen to avoid attacks. Also, I think he could use the Tornado as a final smash or something. I am not sure. Now, I would have picked Shadow, if not for the fact that he would just be Sonic but a different look and voice, so… yeah
#5: Rundus from Metroid - Seriously, we have had only Samus ever since the N64 era. WHEN CAN WE GET A NEW METROID CHARACTER IN THE ROSTER!? Now, why would I chose Rundus over everyone else. Well, first off, He is a fucking badass. His attacks would, of course, insist of his usual claws, and he would fly around on ice. Also, his final smash would probably involve freezing the entire stage, with everyone on it. Seriously, Nintendo, we have been waiting since 1996 for a new Metroid character. All we’ve gotten so far is Ridley. PLEASE, bring us a new Metroid character in the future
#4: Paper Mario from Super Paper Mario - Hey, if they can add Link and Toon Link in the same game, why not Mario and Paper Mario. Seriously, I can see A LOT of opportunity to use Paper Mario. He could dodge his enemies for a long time by flattening himself on the background, flatten himself on the ground, smash enemies, and for a final smash, he could… something involving paper. I don’t know. I’M NOT NINTENDO, OKAY!!! I just like the idea of having a character made of paper in a game like this. Sure, that may not be a lot of an explanation, but trust me, he has LOADS of potential
#3: Lana from Hyrule Warriors - Now, for those of you who are unaware, Lana is a character that was new to the Zelda games and was added in Hyrule Warriors only. Now, with that said, Lana is probably be one of my favorite character in Hyrule Warriors besides Link. So, it’s no doubt that I would like to register her for the next Smash Bros game. She would no doubt use all her magic to attack enemies, and her final smash would probably be the Great Deku Tree beating the shit out of everyone. It just seems to make sense to me
#2: Fawful from Mario and Luigi - DO IT, NINTENDO! JUST DO IT! ADD FAWFUL TO SMASH BROS, PLEASE!!!!! Anyway, Fawful has to be one of the funniest video game characters ever. And just imagining him in Smash Bros is gonna be fucking incredible. His attacks would probably be his usual laser beam and his poison mushrooms, and his final smash has to be something that fits his insane personality, also, if he is added to Smash Bros, then I hope, and I mean, I HOPE that they bring back his old dialogue. Who wouldn’t love to hear him say I HAVE FURY while beating the shit out of Mario. It’s award worthy
#1: Skull Kid and Majora from Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask - Yes, yes, and so much yes. I wanted to see these two in a Smash Bros. game ever since I first played Majora’s Mask. Just think about it. Sure, they would probably not be the best for attacking, at least Skull Kid anyway. They would probably fly around, shoot fire, use the mask as a weapon, which can transform into the other forms as well, and the final smash would be… well, obvious to fans of Majora’s Mask, but the final smash would be the goddamn moon crashing onto the stage and hitting everyone. Seriously, Nintendo. Please, for the love of god, put these two in the game. When you do, I will buy the shit out of Smash Bros. 5
Well, there you have it. Did you agree with the list at all. Let me know. With that, I will see you all next time.
