David Duchovny, 54, and Gillian Anderson — alien hunter duo Mulder and Scully — shared a kiss while David was performing tracks from his new folk-rock album Hell or Highwater.

Joining him on stage at the Cutting Room in New york, Gillian, 46, quipped: “Can we play some real music please?”

The pair then performed a cover of Neil Young’s Helpless.

They starred in The X-Files for nine years until 2002 – and reunited for a film in 2008. The new series is scheduled to start in January.
