In all honesty i loved the book so much more than the movie, although i liked it as well. I just didn't feel like the movie covered the whole story, like they took out parts of the story that should have been in the movie. this is just my opinion though. Posted over a year ago

Yesterday i read on imdb that Scott Lawrence is going to play the Doc. :( Am i the only one who think this is a terrible idea? He doesn't look like "My Doc". While i was reading the book i imagined someone really cute and young as the Doc. I am really dissapointed. I wanted to be positive about the movie and still i a trying not to think that Scott Lawrence is going to play the Doc. I've just seen that there were stills and a trailer for the Host movie! I've lost hope so many years ago that I completely forgot there would be a movie! And when I saw the actors, they are so young compared to what I had in mind. It's pretty weird. Then Jake Abel for Ian ("alright y not")
Next - the only hope I had left was Jensen ackles for Jared- but then it was made official that Max Irons was to be him and I'm like "WTF that's enough I've already had to put up with!"
My only hope is that the movie won't be ruined(fingers crossed)

I like Stephanie changed the subject from twilight to the host so that way it wasn't so cheesy romantic in the host. Oh and must say that I recently finished this book for the first time and I LOVE IT!!!<3 I couldnt stand the twilight series but this is a masterpiece! Glad that I found it:) Posted over a year ago

I always thought it was funny that stryder (Melanie's last name) means 'battler' or 'combatant' in Dutch (though we write it as 'strijder', but the pronunciation is almost the same). And a 'battler', Melanie is for sure! Ok, so there's a lot of hype about Saorise Ronan as Mel, has anyone considered the fact that she might be Wanda? Remember, Wanda is going to be a voice-over while in Mel's body. (At least that's what I've read on the casting website.) Ronan could then easily be Wanda in Pet's body as well. Consider the fact that Wanda is the main star of the book, and it's claiming Ronan as the movie's star. It's something to think about. Posted over a year ago
