The Host Do you believe there are people (Twilight Haters) who 'hate" The Host (without reading it) only because is was written by the same author? I am talking about Prejudice.

Definitely. I don't like Twilight (though I'm not a hater), and I always find myself defending The Host to people who hate it because it's written by "that Twilight chick." I'm always saying, "The Host is NOTHING like Twilight, it's actually very well written and thought-provoking. Honest. Give it a chance. I did, and I loved it."
But I'm sad that a lot of people are probably not gonna see the movie just 'cause it's based on a Stephenie Meyer book.

Yeah, there's lots, but they sorta have good reason. If somebody doesn't like Twilight, then they probably won't like The Host, either. I mean, I guess it's kind of unfair that they won't even give The Host a chance, but if a movie looked really stupid to you, you probably wouldn't give it a second glance either.

I'm not saying The Host is stupid; I'm just saying it is to lot of other people, and there's really nothing you can do about it but expect their opinions.

The Host actually IS very much like Twilight, so I can sorta see where they're coming from.
