when will the next book come out? or has it come out already? I can't find any information about it!

Stephenie Meyer has said she plans for The Host to be a trilogy, with the second book entitled The Soul and the third The Seeker. She has outlined them and written some, but as yet there is no release date.

The second book has not come out yet, as Stephenie Meyer is still in the process of writing it. She has said that she is "maybe twenty percent" done with it and that the outline she wrote for it was over fifty pages long.
