Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
‘The 100’: Bob Morley previews Bellamy’s family & love life in Season 4
It’s hard to fit first dates and flirting, much less serious family time, into your schedule when the world is ending — but “The 100” somehow still manages to create deep and lasting connections between its characters, between every new crisis.
Now that Clarke (Eliza Taylor), Bellamy (Bob Morley), Raven (Lindsey Morgan) and the rest of the kids on the ground have a deadly wave of radiation headed their way, it sounds like romance might be taking a backseat. Still, we did ask Morley about the various relationships Bellamy will spend time developing in Season 4 — and what those relationships mean to the overall narrative.

“I think that maybe he’s steering away from [
], because most people that he does have a relationship with end up blowing up, or getting impaled by a spear,” Morley jokes. “I feel sorry for the guy, because I think he needs that — but whether he actually feels like he deserves it is another question. He’s very full of angst and sadness.”
Morley does admit that there are two people who Bellamy can’t help but connect with: Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) and Clarke.
“That relationship with Octavia is one that I would really like to see develop into a more adult-type relationship, as opposed to him berating her and her telling him, ‘You can’t tell me what to do.’ That whole back-and-forth dynamic,” Morley says. “At some point you do have to take a backseat with the people you care about – you can’t give them the answer, they have to find it themselves.”
As for Clarke, there’s no hint of any romance between those two at this point, but Morley understands the shipping frenzy the fans have for these two characters.
“I think the relationship with Clarke is one of the one where he can be open with her, and be vulnerable, which — there’s not many people he was like that with in his life,” Morley says. “That’s why people might gravitate towards that, because there is a side of Bellamy that she brings out that doesn’t really come out with anybody else … If people want to ship it, I’m not going to stop them. If they feel passionately about it, that’s great.”

Another person we’re eager to see Bellamy develop a relationship with is Luna (Nadia Hilker).
Luna’s return in Season 4 opens a lot of doors, especially if she’ll be sticking around longer this time. The only person we’ve seen her interact with on a deeper level is Clarke — but given the crisis heading for Arkadia and Polis, Luna will likely be tossed in with more of our favorite characters as the season progresses; Bellamy being an important one.
Morley was cagey about that particular relationship, so as not to give away any spoilers, but the fact that there’s something to tell at all is exciting.
“Bellamy’s relationship with Luna is very much in development. I don’t know how much I can tell you in regards to that without destroying it or getting fired. Let’s just say it’s a work in progress.”
There’s no evidence that this dynamic is romantic at all, but that’s the beauty of “The 100.” Having such a diverse and interesting cast of characters means that every new coupling — romantic or not — is always exciting.
“The 100” premieres Wednesday (Feb. 1) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
