"The song is about leaving the past behind and moving on. With the video we’re making fun of pop culture in a similar tone to some of our past videos like “Hell Song" and “Still Waiting”. We’re basically saying, that in the middle of all this bullshit we’re just a rock band doing our thing,” said lead singer Deryck Whibley.

The rock video takes a punch at memes and internet culture with lyrics like "'Cause I wanna feel/ Something that’s real" and "Left to be free (I just wanna fake my own death)." Included in the video are memes, gifs and images of Kim Kardashian-West, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Donald Trump, James Franco, Bill Cosby, Bernie Sanders and even Kermit the Frog.
