*reads over* Oh! I see what your saying! It's funny, 'cause when we talk about the planets in science, I tend to say "No, it's *insert name of Greek God that corresponds with planet here*!"
Ex. "No, it's Poseidon! What are you, Roman?"

Oh I am always trying to hold back a laugh because young Greco roman world, mythology fan, seeing people forgetting the Greek names and forgetting infos. The usual oh and sometimes I think about, hey if they are named after the gods..can they visit them? So then we can go to the moon and met Artemis? That was my awkward though as a 11 year old

Whenever I hear the names of the planets I think first of the Roman/Greek gods, then I think of Percy, then of Leo, then of all the books in general.
I also sort of laugh quietly to myself. I don't know why but I do.

Let's just say last time we learned about the solar system I doodled all the Greek gods and goddesses names on my folder. I even did minors and what they were the god/goddess of. It was really funny when I would show the list to somebody and they just stared at the long list. Oh and my best friend who never read the books tried to write her name on there since she thinks shes a "goddess".
