Wow, I didn't even realize the elections came already! I'm not running; part of me would like to, but I was only here since last July, not even a year! So I'll just be voting.

Campaign? You don't really HAVE to campaign, but I guess you could make a poster of a sort if you wanted and put it as your icon, maybe get some friends to use it. Or you could maybe try to start some new project or game or whatever here, to show you'd be a good Prez. ^^ Just be creative (of course without passing the boudaries of spamming the place with tons of election stuff).

Hello fellow Pom fans I'm ILUVKOWALSKI (Some of you will know me as Emma) and this year I've decided to run for president. (obviously XD)

I've been on Fanpop for over a year now and, wow, there are no words that can describe how amazing it is on here. To be able to talk to other Pom fans as dedicated and crazy as I am has stopped me from losing it around the people who have never heard of Pom. There are so many amazing and funny people on here and it's been a great experience to be able to talk to all of you and share thoughts about Pom. What we have on here is something that many people don't understand. It's a special connection because we all have that one thing in common. In the year that I've been on here I've talked to people from so many different countries and continents which has been incredible because it really shows how popular and worldwide Pom really is and it makes me feel that I'm not alone in the world for being obsessed with it.

The reasons I think that you should vote for me as president is that, although I haven't been on as along as some other people and I haven't got a medal, I've always been commenting on pretty much all of the images since I came on here and I've never been in an argument before. As president I will do everything I can to make the Pom spot a more amazing place for all fans, old and new. Also I'll do my best to stop any spammers and haters from disturbing the spot. I will also take any ideas any of you may have to improve this spot and I will be there if anyone is having trouble with someone or something on this spot you can message me about your troubles and I'll do everything I can to help. Also I will try to make the new Pom fans feel welcome and help them with troubles on the site. And (although this is very unlikely since everyone on here is so nice. :3) if an argument occurs I will do my best to resolve it.

As you can probably tell, I'm not the best at speeches and I'm not as well known as some of the other candidates but I hope that many of you will read this and decide to vote for me.

This is my third time on running, and quite frankly, it's getting better for me. I feel special because people believe I am someone who deserves the title, and that alone makes my day. So first off, thanks to those who have voted for me at all.

I've been a part of this spot for almost two years, and while my die-hard medal proves that I've committed a lot here, but there's also outside the site where I am willing to show my dedication to the show because it's because of this spot. This spot is where I can be the Penguins of Madagascar obsessed fan I am and where I can make friends with people just like that. It is here that I don't feel like the shy girl I am in the real world; here, I am my own person and I love it. And I run for president to say thanks to this spot for giving me this chance.

I cannot make promises on how it will go in the future, especially since the show is slowly decending into its end, but I can say that I will do as much as I can to keep this spot balanced like it is now. I would do my best to put behind the bad times and keep this place the elated webspot it has been for a while. The previous presidents have proven themselves remarkable, and I would like to be a part of that line because it would actually mean a lot to me and would show my contributions haven't been useless; even being nominated and voted for at all has proven that, but I know if I am nominated, I will take those responsibilities on.

I suppose that means I'm up next! Here we go then.
This is my first time running for president, but it certainly isn't my first time being around this fanspot! I was around when we were having troubles and I actively tried to help solve them.I was forced to leave for a while because I had to make sure my school work was in order, but this fact in of itself proves that I know how to prioritize and take on responsibility. The role of the president is not of power, but of great servitude, and I would do my best to fulfill that role. Four ways the president serves, as I have observed:
1. Community projects-posting forums and games that bring us together
2. Solving problems-using decisive action and a discerning mind to help the community get through any amount of melodrama or crisis. 3. Fun Support- Being active, helpful, and kind. 4. Fanatic fan- Someone dedicated to the show, and is willing to go the extra mile for other fans to share information, supporting and/or fanart, fanfictions, and forums.
As president I would do my best to fulfill all four of these in the community.
However, more importantly is that I am a dedicated fan of YOU, the fellow fanguins. You are a great team and a worthy flock. No matter how much your feathers get ruffled, you stand strong and together for the principles that keep this internet community strong such as maturity, kindness, a good sense of humor and endurance worthy of one of Skipper's own men. If I were to be nominated to be the president, It would be my privilege to help keep this fanspot in it's already well-balanced state, support the community through comments, and most importantly of all, have a blast being best buds with you bodacious birds.
When I first came, the fan count was under 1000, and I was greeted with friendliness and made lovely friends, and this fanguin friendliness has not faded, even though our numbers have certainly grown, we are a very tight-nit bunch. It would be my honor to serve such a wonderful community, it is an honor in and of itself to be in the running with such fine candidates, each of whom would do a fantastic job, but the greatest honor is having you for friends. And as president, I would serve my friends faithfully until the bitter end. Or when my term is up. ;)

Hello, all. I'm Dalton, AKA Dylan, AKA Gumball17. I've only been active in this spot since Jan- pardon me, Julienary so I may not have been around when the supposed "Great RP War of 2011", but that doesn't mean I wouldn't make a great Prez. I'm fun-loving, and troll-hating. Also, both on here and on Fans of PoM, I've made some of the best friends of my life here. mostar, carsfan, hotsnowsels, and P-Angel are just some of my best friends on this spot. In conclusion, even if I don't win, I still get to be here with my friends, so I'd still be a winner. :)

My turn:

This is my second year on this spot and I cannot tell you how much I enjoy being here. From the first time I stumbled upon Fanpop and found this page, I was amazed by the community that has formed here. I don't think other spots on this website have created such a close bond between fans. And we all know each other as friends. Sure, we've had our problems. We've had fangirl invasions and bullying and one case of porn pictures being posted, but through thick and thin, we've all stuck together and, through the two-year period I've been here, the community hasn't changed that much. As President, I would make my top priority keeping the fans of POM one big family. I would encourage club activities like Icon Days and Caption Contests. And if there was any cyberbullying, I would make sure no one walks away with hurt feelings. No one on this website has the right to make anyone else feel bad. As President, I would stand by what I call the Private Model: If Private wouldn't say it to someone, neither should you. We'll make this our second home - if it isn't already!
I'd like to wish the other candidates good luck, and may the best fan win! But as long as the leader is just and fair - and I know all the candidates are - who cares who wins?
