I Wanna Make Some POM Music Videos!!!

I've recently heard from many people that you can use Windows Movie Maker to make Music Videos by adding Video Clips and Songs.
So, let's get to the point...
If I use WMM, do I need to have a 'Camcorder' to record or take Clips from POM to do it?
Or what if I don't use WMM, but a new Software called CyberLink Power Director, do I need to record Clips from a 'Camcorder' for this too?
I know you need to have the POM Episodes on your PC first, but which Software does NOT need a Webcam or VCR to Record Clips?
Which Software is more Easy and Flexible to use?
