My answer is: who knows? Our universe it too vast and filled with too many galaxies and stars for us to claim that there is no such thing. We would have to search every single planet to conclude there are no space squids (which we are far from accomplishing). And if there are space squids, they might just look like squids but not actually be squids (which need water to survive) or they might actually be squids but a differently evolved version of the ones on earth (possibly brought to space by extraterrestrials ). Then again these are all theories, and space squids might not or have never existed. But my answer to you is: WHO KNOWS? (but the government might know but are not willing to tell us[but then that's another theorie])
