It's possible. There are many possibilities on where they came from. Like my fanfic starts out with the penguins in Antarctica, but Skiparah's fanfic starts somewhere else. I think they should make a movie on how the penguins met to clear things up. That's a good question.

It obviously wasn't. In the movie Madagascar, they looked like they were going to their homeland because they missed it, but when they understood it wasn't like they expected... The key word is "expect", they would know what Antarctica would be like if they knew there. And besides, they don't like cold weather but warm, and they were so cold that they were freezing when Private convinced Hunter's father to refrigarate his teammates - if they were grown up in Antarctica, they would be used to the cold waters of the cold desert.
