Does/do your family/friends know about your obsession with "The Penguins Of Madagascar"?

Yupadoodle! I don't know how they figured it out though. I mean, I only talk about it nonstop, make every reference to it, wear things with penguins on them everyday, carry around a notebook that I write my POM fanfics in, quote them everyday, and bring a different POM plushie everyday. So I'm completely clueless on how they riddled out my fanguin status. *shrugs* XD

Oh yes!!! My entire grade knows . My reputation for being a penguin nutcase is very well-known! i had a POM birthday party last year (best ice-cream cake ever! But i felt bad eating Skipper's face...) i'm a fanguin and i am PROUD!!!!! XD

I should also mention i sleep with a penguin plushie (*cough* 2 actually...) X3

All of my family knows and pretty much everyone at school knows including the teachers and they dont really care. :D

There are a select few people who know that I have an interest in the show, but I've kept my fandom involvement and fan fiction writings to myself and the anonymity of the Internet.

For the most part, I've kept my obsession with the Penguins, as Skipper would say, "Classified." Although my family knows I watch the show and I have mentioned the show once, maybe twice to my friends, I haven't really revealed how much I like it. As a 17, it's hard for anyone around you to really understand a teenager to be so into a cartoon, no matter how awesome it is.

my friends know a lot about my obsession for POM and my obsession of Kowalski. Unfortunately, my family knows about it and i feel embarrassed because of it. Mostly, i'm kinda embarrassed of my mom knowing about my obsession over Kowalski. Good Golly Wolly.

My friends know and they think i'm too obsessed... and only my brother knows and he gets annoyed when i talk about them too much.

I'm 17 myself and my family do not accept the fact that I see cartoons or love characters from cartoons...but I would not let them stop me from doing what I love doing :) My friends know about it too , they don't really care but it feels a little strange to them when they hear me talk with passion about the show or the characters :< after all, it is not common for a grownup teen to watch those things :/

My dad's awesome about it, he loves my penguins too. X) And my mom's pretty cool about it, although sometimes I think she think's I'm more obsessed than I really am... My sister and my best friend, maybe not so big for it, but they put up with me anyway. X)

My and my bro got excited yesterday, because we found out what he meant ina way we understood.

We were looking at the Periodic Table and mum said a certon group was rare earth metals. So quoted Kowalski's thing and looked at their charge and guess what? IT WAS +2!!!!

It's pretty hard NOT to like it. My penpal likes it, though probably not as much as me, and my dad likes it. I'm more a fan than my bro though. I KNOW IT AS A FACT!!!!

My friends??? About 5 of them know about it and they kinda mock me with it. I just found out that my best friend (she is also my deskmate) has been lying to me about liking PoM. She said that she has been acting, faking. She isn't interested in PoM, she never has been. That broke my heart, not just the fact that she hates PoM, the fact that she has been lying to me for years now, that hurt the most. I really thought i was her friend...

School: There are a few poeple in my english class that do, but there is this one guy who mocks me... but I try to ignore him, but it`s not easy... He knows that I love to draw them. :)

My best friends thinks they're hilarious, but she's not obsessed with them like I am. My best cousin knows and thinks it's a little weird lol. No one else knows, except my cousin's hot boyfriend might've just figured it out O_o

If my family and friends knew, they would mock me so I keep it a secret that I look forward to every new episode and that I want to go to comic con to see the live =) lol They just know that I watch the show daily POM came out when I was like 12 and im now 16, I still like the show!!! I use to just watch it because everything else was boring but over the years I've grown to realy enjoy watching it and I did enjoy the madagascar movies too.

Oh, most definitely. Or...at least they did. Now my obsession has toned down quite a bit, so they don't make that much of a big deal about it. Besides, I'm always getting obsessed about some cartoon or whatever. First it was Danny Phantom, then it was PoM, and right now it's... the Toy Story movies. Of course, there are a few quotes that have stuck in my head--for example, when something shocks me, I say, "Oh, sweet mercy!" Thank you, Kowalski. XD

Well, let's see... My sister and her husband's family knows (since they were around the time the last movie was on and they saw me freaking out), my parents know, my brother's three kids know, pratically all my friends know, and the teacher I TA for knows. Well, she knows about Fanfiction. I don't think they know just how MUCH I like it. XD

Mostly everyone knows it by now. My family doesn't really care, I'm 19 and still love the the show to bits. My friends, they frequently go along with it. So, they don't mind it.

NOt really, was with my ex for 23 years, he left in 2011 & that's one thing he was peeved at me about, he thought it was stupid for me liking POM & Fanpop as much as I do, but I'm not good at sports or most anything, finally found something I really liked, got allergies galore so can't be outside for too long cause I have so many problems with my allergies & start having sinus problems & my throat is always scratchy but can also get very raw but anyways, yeah he called me weird cause I love my TV shows & I guess that is weird for someone in their 40's but I still believe that that is better than what he was doing which was cheating & it was fine for him to go all crazy over his sports but it's not the same thing for me.

Yep! My bro gets annoyed sometimes by my obsession though xD
