hey did any one find the end of "i know why the caged bird goes insane" confusing, if u didn't can someone plz explain it to me.

Marlene defeated the space squid using Kowalski's invention, the one that the space squid originally wanted. Skipper, Private, and Rico crash into the wall and Private asks Kowalski if he's still crazy.
Kowalski says he's fine due to the fact that he doesn't need Invexpo, because the space squid proved that out of all the inventions in the world, the one it desired most was the Extendo-grab. This made Kowalski feel as if his invention was better than ALL of those at Invexpo, and so what would be the point of him seeing the fair if he already had the world's greatest invention?
And then Marlene gives him a "robo-five" as I call it at the end, because she also knew what he was talking about. XD
