In the Hoboken song: "For the price of a lousy subway token". LOUSY? Huh?

I wondered that as well. I think Clemson was just trying to suggest that the token's cost was cheap, trivial, or insignificant -- that its price was not prohibitive to taking a short trip across the Hudson to Hoboken.
