The character breakdowns and names match up with the two “brothers” that TVLine’s Ask Ausiello told you about earlier this month, though the official descriptions make no mention of any kinship. Regardless, I hereby withdraw my (fun!) “anthropomorphized Scar and Mufasa” theory and instead now throw my weight behind a fictionalized twist on The Brothers Grimm — especially given the revisiting of the Author storyline.

Both characters are expected to appear at season’s end, and likely will spill over into the recently ordered Season 6.

It’s totally a take on the Brothers Grimm! OUAT is probably reaching it’s end too, so letting us know how the real world came to know these apparently real stories of fairytale characters seems like a good way to go out.

I’m really intrigued I’m looking forward to this storyline. I was always curious about how they were going to portray Season Six as they’ve seemed to have covered a lot of realms already.

It would be awesome if this was a shoutout to the mental hospital from the Wonderland spinoff…but it’s probably completely unrelated unfortunately.

I want a Being Human reboot. Aidan, Josh, Nora and Sally. That series ended almost randomly, right when it could have had the most intense storyline of the series. Shame on the network..

I’ve been saying for years that if they revisted Frankenstein’s world, Witwer would make a great Dracula. A meta nod towards his time on the US Being Human, while capturing his sinister portrayal of his Darth Maul voice work.
