Once Upon a Time EPs Solve Mystery of ‘Familiar’ Season 5 Episode Title

Debuting tonight, the teaser takes stock of some realms and familiar characters who to date have played a role on

‘s Merida (played by Amy Manson) and King Arthur’s knights of the Round Table.

The promo also reminds us of Emma’s new “look,” having allowed herself to be consumed by the Darkness in the May finale, in the name of saving Regina.

I hope they kill off some characters soon. Lets start with Mary Margret because my god is her acting straight bad (a large part of it is the writing for her character is god awful).

Thank you! I’m so tired of some people making Emma’s sacrifice be only about Regina. The Apprentice said just a few minutes before that scene that the darkness would devour everything, the entire realm. It would have killed Regina, then moved on to the next person, then the next, unless it was tethered with the dagger. Regina was just its second victim (after the Apprentice) but wouldn’t have been the last.

It really belittles Emma’s sacrifice to make it only about one person instead of recognizing the magnitude that she saved the souls and lives of the entire town. The focus is on Regina far too much as it is! How about everybody in the town recognize that they ALL would’ve been screwed if Emma hadn’t done what she did? If she hadn’t, they all would’ve been Darkness Chow.

I’m also curious about what is motivating Emma as the Dark One. It sounds like she has a definite plan or purpose. What does she want to accomplish? I hope she has enough of herself left in there to try to destroy the darkness from the “inside,” as it were.

I’m so excited to see where this season will take Emma and Killian. How they’ll handle the changes emotionally…this could be pretty fantastic.
