It turns out Elsa\'s arrival in Storybrooke was not the coldest thing to happen during the Season 4 premiere of "Once Upon a Time." Instead, it was the upheaval of Regina\'s happy ending with Robin Hood. 

In the Season 3 finale, Emma saves the life of a kind stranger and brings her back to Storybrooke from the Enchanted Forest -- only to find out that the stranger was Robin Hood\'s wife, Marian. Once again, Regina gets the short end of the stick when it comes to finding true love. 

In the Sept. 28 premiere of Season 4, Robin has a very serious sit down with Regina and tells her that even though his feelings for her are very real, he is a man of honor and has to stay true to his vow as a husband to Marian. Just twist the dagger in Regina\'s heart, why don\'t you. 

"It\'s just difficult because he knows [Regina] is a dark person. He knows about her past but he also says \'I have a dark past too,\'" actor Sean Maguire tells Zap2it at the "Once Upon a Time" season premiere party. 

While Robin Hood has always stood for what\'s right, stealing for the rich to give to the poor and sticking to a non-negotiable moral code -- is there room to see him bend those rules a bit? "I\'m looking forward to exploring his moral compass because he\'s duty bound in certain way," Maguire says. "However, his heart is possibly telling him something else. So do you follow your heart or your mind?" 

Exploring the other side of Robin\'s moral compass could lead to an even deeper relationship with Regina. The two have connected over their dark pasts, and while Tinkerbell\'s initial premonition that the two belonged together seemed crazy -- Season 3 really proved the potential for these two to make it work. 

"I think they\'re soulmates," Maguire confesses,"Destiny brought them together. There\'s something within each other that sort of works for the other one." 

Of course, Regina isn\'t about to back down from a fight. She struggles with going her usual dark route and just killing any obstacle -- Marian -- in her way. She even teams up with a menacing old friend, as you can see in the clip below. 

It seems that Regina has truly broken ground on finding redemption because she doesn\'t take the opportunity to end Marian as she could have. Instead, Regina gets creative and will start the season off looking for the writer of the fairy tale book to convince him to give villains their happy ending as well. 

As Regina tip-toes along the line between good and evil, a line that Robin Hood understands so well himself, is there anything she could do that would be unforgivable to the love of her life?

"If any harm comes to my son, I think we could see a very different person come out in Robin," Maguire says. "When he lost his wife, the one thing he had left was his honor, his morals and his son. So if any harm comes to that little boy, even me as Sean would get really angry."

Will Regina cross that line in her fight to be happy? You\'ll have to keep watching Season 4 to find out.
