LOl i love that icon xx

i don't particularly like it, but there is a lot more potential as far as developing the storyline and moving everyone forward, and since I'm thinking Morgana will probably seek out Mordred, he will be that much older... also, Uther could have deteriorated a lot and I don't particularly want to watch his steady decline for another season. Merlin will also have another year's worth of studying magic and he'll be that much more awesome... but I was completely tempted to choose the first one just because of the picture of Uther. It was REALLY hard not to.

^u have actually some very good reasons! but i think one year is too much..maybe a few month, it would have been awesome to see Arthur making gwen a lady (u know with him kneeling to her , the ceremony and the party ) , but Uther's decline is actually interesting and i want to see how his relationship with his son and his future daughter in law deteriorate.
as for morgana..it could have "nice" to see her helpless after morgause's injuries and then seeking mordred for help

I actually don't really care where/when it starts, they'll surely make good work out of it so I'm sure I'll like it whether it's 1 year after or 1 day after.

I don't really like it. I wanted to see the progress. But I think it will be ok.

I don't think it's bad at all. It means that if the actors grow (personality and visually wise), it can be interpreted as having a year gone past in the story, instead of one week them being one way, and the next being different. And it's kinda refressing to fast forward time otherwise the character developement will take longer.

I hate that. Because its such a long time for a tv show with just 13 episodes. The seasons always have few episodes yet they make us wait for a year which makes people lose their excitement for the show. Or forget about it.

I think it's a good idea because it worked for Season 3 and since it's been a year, we'll probably get to see Morgana as Queen of Avalon and I'm guessing she's sought our Mordred. I'm also curious to see how Uther's reacting to the knights after a year, especially since he banished one of them and then had him save his kingdom. Also, since so much time has passed, Arthur's closer to becoming king and I'm taking it he's slowly putting the pieces together about Merlin's powers.

It could have been great to see people's reaction to Arwen and how the new knights would handle it... But we need a fresh start I suppose. ;)
