Probably my least favorite so far this season, but still good. Favorite part had to be the Marshall/Randy storyline. xD Ted's students just pissed me off...

By no means was this a bad episode- in the entire show's history there has only been ONE truly BAD episode, IMO (The Rough Patch)- but it was definitely my least favorite of the season so far. I may have graded a bit harshly so I'll watch it again to reevaluate, but for now my grading stands.

This season has just been so amazing, they set the bar really high for each new episode. I think this is the first episode I've graded below an A- this season. I just don't know. There was some great continuity with Arthur and his dog and of course Randy, but I was hoping that the Robin plotline would have a much better ending. I thought that her doing a commercial for adult diapers was probably the lamest joke of the season and Ted's students and Zooey were annoying... so I really don't know. A second viewing may bump it up to a B- or maaaybe a B... but I don't think I'll give it any higher than that.

It was alright, I think. Still missing the true HIMYM magic here. I wish we had seen more of the Halloween party.
Maybe they'll do a haunted house story for Halloween next year. It would be fun and also convincing since Marshall believes in the paranormal stuff...

I still hate Zoey. I hope she won't be the mother! Didn't like the story with her and Ted.
Loved Randy and Becky. Oh, who else thinks they'd make a great couple? =D
Barney didn't have much to do, it's such a waste of talent.
I will rewatch it, and maybe come back later. It wasn't as bad as The Rough patch for example, but it wasn't really good either. I'll see if the epi's worth watching a second time...

I just watched it, and my rating stands. There were a couple of things that I enjoyed (The toy horse head on the little kid's nap mat and the car alarm...) but I didn't really like any of the main plotlines. None of them really worked for me...

@Jennifer1985- Don't worry about Zooey. She can't be the mother, Ted meets the mother at the wedding. Also I definitely agree about them wasting Barney by really not giving him much to do in this episode. :P Hopefully Natural History will be better.

I agree, HouseOfficeFan7. I've watched the episode one more time and I didn't care about the main plot either. Ted and Robin making the impression of the car alarm is probably the highlight of the episode.

Right, Zoey won't be the mother. I forgot, Ted meets the future Mrs. Mosby at (Barney's? Robin's?) wedding. What a relieve to have that back in mind =D

Marshall was lovely as always and Lily was awesome but I didn't really care about the other story lines.

Actually I did enjoy Becky's boats advert :)
