Hilary Duff Admits Being Nervous on Her Music Comeback

Hilary Duff sports a comfy pair of ripped sweats while running errands on Saturday (August 2) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The day before, the 26-year-old entertainer kept herself hydrated with a bottle of Fiji water while out and about in West Hollywood.

Can’t blame her. Her song made it into the 20′s of the itunes chart but is now down to #175. She’s not off to a very good start. Probably a little too young bubblegum pop for a 26 year old. Maybe her next single will do better.

All you but the **** you call music on itunes are just stupid.

The song and the video are pretty bad. This is bubblegum pop that might have worked for her back in the day when she was a teenager but she’s a 26-year old woman with a kid…it’s not cute anymore nor is it believable. The video is also incredibly dated like something you might have seen in the mid to late 90′s. She should just stick to acting Get on a television series or a comedy. Not sure why she wants to venture back into music. Sorry to be harsh but the music biz is a pretty harsh place.

Please don’t take this as a hateful comment because I do not hate her at all, but I’m VERY disappointed in her song release. I expect to hear a song like that on a Disney Junior show…it’s even too cheesy for the older kids shows on Disney Channel. I’m surprised that her music has ‘matured’ to that. It’s total cornball and I would be embarrassed to record/release that when I’m a little over 2 years shy of being a 30 year old woman. The music business is rough. You’re only as good as your last song, so you need to make sure they’re consistently marketable. I mean, look at Justin Bieber…he sells music because he has dedicated fans, but his songs don’t chart like “Baby” did. He’s practically a one hit wonder. That’s what everyone knows him by…but Rihanna consistently charts. Hilary won’t chart well with “Chasing the Sun”…teens/adults don’t want to listen to babyish music unless they have a baby in the back seat car seat. Oh well, I hope she steps it up.

Bottom Line Full Stop!…..Hilary Duff simply doesn’t have the talent to work in entertainment as an adult. This is truly the fate of most kid performers and there is nothing wrong with it.

This music outing is so bad its as if they pulled any kid off the street and put them in a studio.

She is a very very poor singer. Her audience from 10 years ago, in reality no longer exists.

The whole thing is very embarrassing. She needs someone to tell her its over, or she will continue to look desperate and embarrass herself further.

What did she think she was gonna have a number one. Gurl the last five years all the industry has seen is that you like long walks through the whole foods parking lot. Your song is autotuned to death.

The problem with hilary is that she needs to stick to what she does best, which is a comedian actress.
