​A few moons ago (moons \'cos we\'re discussing the subject of wolves, obviously), our ears pricked up in a wolfy fashion at the mention of Harry Styles possibly, maybe, kinda-sorta being linked to a part in Teen Wolf.

We tried not to get too excited because it all seemed very unlikely and that\'s how hearts get broken, people - but the latest interview with an actual writer from the show has actually made it seem like a very real possibility.

Yup, Jeff Davis has been spilling a few Teen Wolf secrets - admitting that the team are actually VERY keen to get Harry a role, as well as revealing the much-discussed fate of Dylan O\'Brien\'s character.

Rather than shooting down the rumours that Harry Styles could be set to join the Teen Wolf cast, Jeff told Creative123 that they\'d actually LOVE to write him into the goings on of Beacon Hills, and are \'in talks\' with all the relevant big wigs.

Asked whether the speculation is a load of rubbish, Jeff admitted: "No, they\'re not 100% fake. We do want Harry Styles in our show. Like a new British boy.

"But we\'re still in talks with people, directors, agents. So we can\'t confirm anything yet."

As if seeing Harry in army fatigues with a shaved head for Dunkirk wasn\'t enough to give you heart palpitations, the sight of him with wolf ears, hairy sideburns and blood-covered fangs is now an actual possibility too. GADZOOKS.

Meanwhile, Jeff also addressed the situation concerning the future of Dylan O\'Brien\'s character, Stiles Stilinksi, after the endless rumours that he\'ll be either killed off or replaced following his accident on set of The Maze Runner.

"No, we aren\'t replacing Stiles," Jeff confirmed. "Dylan O\'Brien will be back to film soon.

"He can\'t do any stunts and we\'re talking with Wes Ball, the producer of The Maze Runner, we hope to get him back on Teen Wolf to film while being injured, but the thing is, he wants to film, he\'s in perfect condition. But he\'s just not doing fine enough to do any stunts."

SO MUCH GOOD NEWS, what a time to be alive for Teen Wolf fans.
