I agree with Silverdoe, and Hugo is good! It reminds me of Hugo Weaving (who I love btw, as Mr. Smith, Elrond and "V") and Victor Hugo! So, the name's good, imo. :)

It makes a comparison along with his sister back to the parents. Ron and Hermione's initials are RW and HG. Hugo goes with Hermione's initials. Also, the HG leads back to the alchemical properties of the parents.
