Season 4 spoilers about who might be dead! 

this sux ass! srew jamie kennedy! i want payne! Melinda and him were interesting to watch together! they would have been a great couple.

So is Payne the one going to die?

Yea, i really think its Payne, because he is the only one who can see everybody on the curb about to cross the street (besides melinda). Its really sad, he was the best and made the show. WHat do u mean Jamie Kennedy?????

i don't think payne is dead in stranglehold (the second to last episode) we see him picking up books when she is in his office talking to him. Second ghosts appear in the same clothes they die in and in the last episode we see him wearing a gray suit, at the end he is wearing a brown suit. Ofcourse this may be revealed in next season. Also I've looked at pictures of the shadows. Payne's shadow is there but Jim's is not, this could be due to the fact that he was behind the others a little. I don't think Jim is dead either. Also melinda is holding paynes arm.... how could she do that if he was dead because you cannot touch a ghost and it takes an extreme amount of energy for them for you to do so. Even if he didn't know he was dead he couldn't touch anyone. My theory if any of them are dead is that it is either JIM or PAYNE... either that or some trick or something yet to be revealed...

although I do agree, payne is the only one who mentions and notices the five shadows and none of them can see ghosts except melinda then he would have to be the one who was dead because he noticed their were six people and five shadows...
