Ed Sheeran might have been going on about having some time off from making music next year, but if you thought it was so he could have a bit of piece and quiet and catch up on the

boxset then it sounds like you could be wrong.

In fact, he\'s supposedly already got another job lined up after some fairly hilarious rumours that he\'s planning to get ordained so he can officiate at the weddings of all his showbiz friends.

As we all know, as the lovely fellow that Eduardo is, he has a lot of famous friends. But getting involved in the proposal of Jake Roche and Jesy Nelson isn\'t where it ends and Ed\'s apparently planning to become a pastor so he can actually wed people.

The main couple Ed supposedly has in mind is close friends Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox, who he actually introduced to each other in the first place.

"They both agree it would be tons of fun as well as extremely fitting if Ed\'s the one to join them in holy matrimony," a source close to the couple supposedly told The Daily Star this week.

He won\'t necessarily have to spend all day studing the Bible or even buy himself a jaunty dog collar for the occasion as over in California, you can actually become legally certified to perform weddings in less than 72 hours for around £50.

It still sounds tres romantic though and the insider apparently adds: "He had already agreed to perform a couple of ballads after they exchange vows, so it seemed logical to him that he should get them hitched too."

"As well as having fun, Ed has a spiritual side too, so he\'ll be taking this very seriously," they added.

"He\'s bursting with pride to have played matchmaker to Johnny and Court and he\'s told them he\'s up for anything that will help make their special day truly memorable."

Well this all sounds like a massive lol, but what do you think? Quite up for hiring Ed to do your wedding too? We\'d rather have him at the groom but we guess you have to compromise sometimes.
