I'm not a great TV watcher or fan of anything. I have NEVER EVER in my life dropped everything to make sure I was sitting in front of the TV to watch a programme. But one night I happened to tune into Doc Martin and that was it. I even set the alarm on my phone to tell me when the programme was on. This is entertainment like no other. Doctor Who fans eat your heart out. Doc Martin has what it takes. He's ordinary in a strange sort of way. He's strong yet vulnerable and has that air of the unloved child about him - don't you just want to get hold of his mother and firmly wring her neck? As for...
