And as for Jasmine, just her exposing her midriff isn't being sexualized. (that's the same type of logic and justification sex negative "feminists" and sexual harassers use)
Other than the scene where she's enslaved by the VILLAIN and later seducing him, (a scene most people find empowering on Jasmine's part or is just a thing that happens in the story and not much else) she isn't anymore sexualized than Ariel.
Again, here we have the loud whiny nitpicky minority on the internet taking something that most people find EMPOWERING about Esmeralda and turning it into something "problematic". Sigh.
Anyway, agreed, with op but also asteria. Ariel is somewhat sexualized, Elsa too, but not ro the degree of the others. Tinkerbell as well.
Also, it's really those who support women and girls being exploited by men really call this "sex negative". It's just prude shaming lite. They deserve better than being treated like objects by men, especially since most of these heroines are teens. And yeah, gee, I WONDER why pornsick guys (the kind who are ok with sexual harassment as you mentioned) and pick-me girls would find an attractive woman being sexualized empowering...? 🙄 well by golly, if everyone says it is, it must be true.
