I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Season 6 Will "Keep the Love Stories Alive" | The Vampire Diaries | Wetpaint
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
The Vampire Diaries, but that doesn’t mean the supernatural drama isn’t without its characteristic romance in Season 6. Where is the love? Executive producer Caroline Dries weighs in!
"I can tease that we definitely keep the love stories alive," Caroline told HitFix, reassured fans. "We might not play it out in a tradition way, but they will feel very satisfying. You\'ll have your moments of frustration where the fans hate us and then we\'ll have moments where they\'re freaking out and being thankful, so there\'s kinda like that push-and-pull that we do, but I think it\'s done in a way that feels fresh for a show that\'s in Season 6 and has had the same characters and this love triangle for a long time."
So, what romance is Caroline referring to? Well, even though Delena may be apart, these two are still very much in love and that will be a major shaping force of the upcoming season. There’s also new romance to consider. Though Steroline seems unlikely in the short term, Stefan has spent the hiatus shacking up with a beautiful woman named Ivy. Meanwhile, on the Whitmore campus, Liv and Tyler are getting their flirt on and Professor Alaric will be meeting-cute with Dr. Jo.
Which love story are you most looking forward to play out in Season 6? Sound off in the comments below!
The Vampire Diaries Season 6 premieres Thursday, October 2, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
