I'm back to being excited again lol. I wonder what this "game changing event" is that has all the secondary characters involved.

It's easy to say the Katherine situation would make her change her mind, but that's already been leaked and isn't so secretive like this other thing. As for the triangle business, I think it will be Matt/Caroline/Tyler lol.

Honestly I'm so glad the secondary characters will be getting more time because last season was a joke. Characters missing for episodes, Tyler missing for most of the season, Matt and Caroline just being fluff when needed...that just sucked. I love seeing the others as well as seeing Stefan, Damon, and Bonnie. The only one I could care less about is Elena and there's entirely too much of her. So I'm glad season 2 will hopefully be balanced out.

I think the triangle will be from the books: Matt/Caroline/Tyler. I really don't see Bonnie and Tyler together, it would be too far away from the books, and JP said they'll be more faithful this season.

I think Caroline and Matt will finally know about the vamps stuff. Because in the books they're all sort of a gang, it will show up on the screen now.

Whatever this game-changing event is, I hope it doesn't automatically make Bonnie Team Vampires, let alone Team Damon. I think her threat holds so many possibilities, and I think it'll be a let-down if that's how it ends. She can still team up with them AND hold her threat. Julie said Bamon will still be antagonistic, so maybe they won't make her completely change her mind, giving me whiplash. Lol.
