What are some of the songs make you think of DF as Cherie, some of these songs have the effect that Cherie is the new star and the lead hit of the band. Others have another side like the drug issue and all the partying but I think alot of these songs suit her to an extend.

The second I heard that Dakota was going to be playing Cherie I have to admit I was a little hesitant about the idea, I love Dakota as a actress. The first time I saw her was in Uptown Girls and then Dreamer, she was good and great. I saw her in Push and loved her in that movie, she was a perfect Cassie Holmes, that was when she took on more mature roles than childrens movies.

When I watched the clips I was like 'well okay she can rock the part.' But when I saw the movie I was like 'That girl is a Cherry Bomb!'

At first when I heard the band was going to be a movie I at first thought Taylor Momsen would be perfect for the Cherie role, then I scratched out that idea and put in Dakota. I thought her two best scenes were when she was buying the vodka at the super market and when she did Cherry Bomb I thought she nailed the real Cherie Currie's moves.

So to me Dakota was amazing as Cherie Currie. And the David Bowie scene that was cool, I wouldn't have the balls to do that.
