Classic Disney
answer this question
Classic Disney Question
Out of the newer Disney movies, what's your favorite?
I mean out of ANY. Whether it be live-action, cartoon, or CGI. But, lets keep it in the 2000's. Which of Disney's newer productions do you like most? Disney channel movies count too.
I don't have a direct favorite, since I grew up around the newer ones, but three come to mind right now. Tangled, Princess and The Frog, and surprisingly, Starstruck.
I love Tangled and Princess and the Frog for bringing back the princesses. Besides that, they are just good movies. Thats pretty much it.
I like Starstruck for a different reason. Even though it is mostly a cliché Disney Channel movie, it does try to be different in a few ways.
One, Christopher isn't the one who wants a new life, at least in the beginning. It is Jess with thinks his life isn't real.
Also, how Jess feels about him in the beginning is unique. Unlike most characters like her, she just doesn't hate him and is cruel to him. She is just mildly unkind to him, but on a whole treats him like a decent person would.
And finally, the romance. It isn't shoved in your face, you just believe it, because the characters play well off each other. Heck, there isn't even a kiss!
Even though Starstruck isn't Emmy award material, I still commend it for trying a few new things.
Here is ky opinion, so now tell me yours!
