after a while. jack seemed keen but i think ennis needed more time to settle on the idea, he was scared about wot happend when he was a kid.

I think if Jack would have lived, then maybe they would've gotten together. Ennis dumped the nurse chick, so maybe that was a sign that Ennis was finally accepting himself...
But that's just me being the hopeless romantic and optimist that I am.
