This was kinda hard for me....

On one hand, Starrk is one of my all time favorite Bleach characters. But Baraggan has a really interesting past and awesome abilities....I ended up choosing Starrk tho XDD

No contest for me... I absolutely LOVE Starrk - he is basically one of my favorite characters throughout Bleach, plus definitely my favorite Espada. Starrk has the most interesting history, I think, whereas Barragan simply has a back-story that prompts a desire for revenge, which means nothing to me. Starrk always just wanted to be understood by someone, have a true companion and not have to fight people; when he finally fell to Kyoraku, I found that to be the saddest moment in Bleach for me, or when Lilinette sacrificed herself to keep him from being destroyed by Kyoraku.

They're both fascinating, but I choose Barragan, who's actually my favorite among the Espada. A king of Hueco Mundo reduced to a lackey of Aizen's, I was always confounded by the fact that he followed like a lapdog until the moment of his death when he sought to take the smug bastard down with him. He's a straightforward character in so many ways who holds to his values, and his abilities were truly transcendent. Starkk was similar in most ways, but I must say, I was far less impressed with his abilities. There was something missing there to make him seem stronger than Barragan.

Yeah, but there was nothing that could have possibly made him stronger than Barragan, anyway. I actually though his abilities were really awesome; I mean, come on, he had Cero pistols for crying out loud, plus Cero Metralleta, which was badass, just like him. Oh, and he could use the 'soul wolves' which were epic!!! XD

Don't get me wrong; Starrk is epic. Among all the characters with swords and blades, he uses guns :D And firing so many ceroes at once like that? Definitely awesome. I love characters with dual guns by default. But Barragan's ability and nature beats all that in my book. First off, among all the shinigami and hallows of Heuco Mundo, he is the only one in this whole anime so far that can actually be reffered to as 'Death'. He carries a scythe, has a skull face, and a black cloak. He should have been named something closer to Thanatos, and I would be satisfied. His ability couldn't be better, frankly. As I've said, i love techniques that follow a concept, rather than straight forward damage. If the two fought each other, I'd imagine Starrk would have a hell of a time trying to figure out how to win, though I'm sure it would end up being close.

@Okami, it is just because the view that the camera is seeing him, plus because of the eyepatch thingie that he gets after him and Lilinette fuse and become one, to complete his Resurrecion.

i like his personailty and he is very strong ^^
