My bias glasses glued themselves to my face after he killed Ming Ming...I will always hate him for that. Plus all the other stuff listed prior to him killing her.

^He killed her because she was a villain and bad person >_< Honestly i don't get how can you hate a character for killing someone bad because he was trying to defend himself ...And i honestly love him these seasons after they removed the love 3angle and all that stupid stuff

I don't get whats so hard to understand. He killed my favorite character. However good the reason (and yeah it was a perfectly good one) I still don't have to like it or him. I hated him prior to killing Ming this just made it worse. People typically don't like characters that kill their favorites. Ming was the thing keeping me attached to the show since Asami's been gone so much (now I have Kuvira) so of course I'm not going to be "oh yeah go Mako! Yeah you kill my favorite so I don't have to see her anymore!"

^ Oh well okay , i guess i just can't get how can you fully hate a character just because he killed your fav, but hey your opinion and probably a lot other people have felt that way , and since you have other reasons ,excluding only that one, it's more understandable

It's because I have this unusual and probably unhealthy attachment to certain fictional characters lol. I get legit mad when they die especially if my second favorite character kills them because then I'm just conflicted. But yeah I honestly can't get over season 1 Mako, that's part of it.

^Nah almost every fan that loves a series or character very much has those attachments (as from what i've seen ) and yeah season 1 , or more season 2 Mako really pissed me off too >_< so i'm quite happy he's hopefully changed a bit

I mean he's gotten better, I don't cringe whenever he comes on screen but I still don't care for him really.

That's fair, I guess. I wanted to like him back in season one (I want to like all the characters on this show, I like this show) but found he was just a bit of an asshat with a few slightly redeeming qualities. Then he started to improve in later seasons and I don't really have any problems with him - I can definitely sympathize with him on a number of cases and his straight-man shtick, while not as funny as Tenzin's, can still be fairly amusing.

I'm beginning to like him now. Even though he seems like a jerk, I'm beginning to see that he's actually very caring and protective of the people he loves, such as Bolin.

I don't hate him like I used to, but I do dislike him and I don't think I'll ever like him.

I liked him in season one!!!! Lol !!!
