Is anyone else slightly bothered by the puzzle piece logo in the icon AND banner? I'm guessing whoever made this club must prefer that design over the infinity rainbow (my personal favorite). autism isnt really something a bully should laugh at, some of the greatest people could have autism, and im glad to have it.

Me at the park, dont really have too many friends running around screaming "SCARAMOUCHE, SCARAMOUCHE, WILL YOU DO THE FANDANGO?!" also running around saying "BISMILLAH! NO WE WILL NOT LET YOU GO!" people thinks it so strange but its just what i do.

my names rita. i have autism and im verbal.
one day im listening to my favorite band queen my favorite song bohemian rhapsody.
when the song goes off i go say to my parents "i am freddie mercury!" they just reply back "yes yes you are!" at school subsitute teacher call me fredde mercury as i sing to the class.
sometimes im pretty happy until someone makes me cry, my parents have learned that when i get upset, i wanna hear bohemian rhapsody, i sing it when im happy or sad. Posted over a year ago

You know what really annoys me? Is that people want to cure autism. So they will basically they want to change us, get rid of us and basically ban us. The motto 'Until all the pieces fit' is also really annoying. What if us autistic people don't want to fit together, we don't want to be a puzzle and be forced to fit together. A lot of autistic adults and kids prefer to be alone, its pretty much our nightmare being forced to meet a load of strangers and basically be told to just go make friends. Posted over a year ago

One person described autism perfectly. She use an example of a toaster and an microwave. You can't heat up something up in a toaster, but it's perfect for toasting things.
