Ok, so I know I haven't included all the banners that were suggested. I tried to pick the ones that most effectively dodged any specific religion and therefore could not be found offensive. The purpose of the banner change is to have a statement that accurately applies to Atheist beliefs, but doesn't single out any one religion in a way that might be considered offensive.

If you really, really, reaaly feel like one of the other banners need to be included here, then I will add it, But we do need to keep the number of options pretty small so that we get a clear winner, and we do need to keep in mind that we need a banner that will represent our spot in a more constructive way.

Snappy, in theme, and universally understood.

#2 & #3 Are basically the same. But I prefer #3.

Perhaps you should add "I want the banner to stay the same" option. I think it should change, but maybe somebody doesn't. :)

If we end up using #2, can we please centre the words? Make this spot OCD friendly!

Oh yeah, and are we just allowed to ask people to vote without influencing them?

And I second the "centering"- request.

Personally, I love the first banner, but it sounds like we're admitting the existence of God...so maybe not the best choice :P

Ok, well I'll have to shut this pick down then and make new banners? Because if the banners are changed, we are voting for different banners...

Just continue this pick and replace banner #2 with the first new one you made :) The font isn't that different and it's now centered, apart from that it's pretty much the same. (same colors, same text)

I think the images didn't accurately represent our beliefs. Not all of us believe in the Big Bang and science-ish stuff.

I actually like the plain ones better, even though that's mine as well :P

Actually, I like the quote on the first one best, but it sounds like we think God exists and we're just opposing him.

What about white letters on black but with the same quote? It would match the icon better, I think.

And what are atheists supposed to believe if we don't believe in science? Wouldn't not believing in it defeat the purpose of being an atheist/not really be atheism?

Well, that pick is far too close for my liking. One vote separates them. Do we want another round? I just think it might be wise given that banner #2 changed halfway through the picking process. Maybe we will get a clearer winner if we do another round with #2 & #3?
